► Mercedes Future Truck 2025 (Autonomous Driving Demo)
The Mercedes-Benz Future Truck 2025 constitutes a revolution in
efficiency, safety and networking, a revolution for road traffic and its
infrastructure, for professional driving and for the road transport sector.
This is not a new truck, but rather the key element in the interconnected
transport system of the future. It is being developed as part of the
"Shaping Future Transportation" initiative by Daimler Trucks to conserve
resources and reduce emissions of all kinds. Other aims are to ensure the
highest possible level of traffic safety and to Boost networking with intelligent data
management considerably for tailor-made vehicle and service solutions.
The prototype demonstrated the exciting capabilities of the
Future Truck 2025 back in the summer at speeds of up to 80 km/h in
realistic traffic situations on a section of the A14 motorway in Magdeburg,
Germany. Now the thrilling exterior and interior of that same vehicle are
One of the most interesting questions on the subject of autonomous driving
is the time horizon envisaged for its realisation. In purely technical
terms, turning it into reality on the roads is already feasible within
around five years. In terms of passenger car development cycles, a possible
start is envisaged in 2020. Owing to the more complex factors for heavy
commercial vehicles, the time horizon for such vehicles will, however, be
rather longer – realistically implementation is possible within ten
years, also in view of the legal considerations that still remain to be
The introduction of autonomous driving will not happen digitally from one
day to the next, as development is progressing in a gradual manner:
evolutionary stages are necessary to revolutionise goods haulage on the
roads. In the coming years, new and improved assistance systems will
continue to pave the clearly set-out way to autonomous driving.

The technology of tomorrow is already a reality at Daimler Trucks, in the
shape of the Mercedes-Benz Future Truck 2025. The autonomously driving
truck was presented on the eve of the 65th International Motor Show for
commercial vehicles in Hanover, Germany. Its perfect synthesis of
technology and design means: The Future Truck 2025 is more than simply a
new truck; it is a key component of the transport system of the future. For
the Mercedes-Benz Future Truck 2025 is sparing on resources, reduces
emissions of all types, ensures maximum road traffic safety and increases
the level of networking in road transport. Goods traffic in the future will
be safer, more efficient and more connected as a result. The Future Truck
2025 thus marks a revolution for road traffic and its infrastructure, the
truck driving profession and the haulage industry as a whole.
Work continues to take the Future Truck 2025 towards market maturity -
series production on the horizon
The Mercedes-Benz Future Truck 2025 is far more than a remote vision. The
truck should be on our roads in ten years' time. Many of its technological
elements are already available and ready to use.
"This truck provides compelling answers to the challenges that our
customers will be facing in the future. Our aim therefore is to press
forward with readying this technology for the market and to bring it to
series-production standard," said Dr Wolfgang Bernhard, Daimler Board
Member for Trucks and Buses, at the presentation of the innovative vehicle
in Hanover. "What we are showing here today is how the transport of goods
on our roads will be running more efficient, safer and more connected in
ten years' time. I am convinced that this will open up a whole new business
perspective for Daimler Trucks ," added Bernhard.
Redline Review: 2015 Mercedes-Benz C400
No longer the entry-level runt in the Mercedes-Benz family, the 2015
C-class has moved significantly upmarket in design, technology, driving
dynamics, and luxury. Looking and feeling like the flagship S-class, this
all-new C400 should give BMW and Audi drivers a run for their money. Those
of you who can swallow the high price of admission will be treated to one
phenomenal sport luxury sedan. Just be sure to spend some time with the
300d turbo diesel engine runing out of the car
i had my boy tom go to the junk yard and pull this beast by him self on a
very hot day in the sun while i was at work making the cash. i might keep
it as a spare for my 84 300sd or sell it i don't know yet.

My name is Victor, Here is a 1994 GMC Suburban 4X4 with a Mercedes-Benz
This is Diesel...In case you Didn't Know.....
The Transmission is a 700R4 from a 1992 Suburban 4X4.
It took about 2 weeks to get the adapter Plate made, used the MB
Flywheel and adapted the GM Torque converter to fit.
the engine dropped right in with lots of space to work around.
i got most everything to work on the dashboard even though the GM is
computerize...i got the temp, alt, speedo, oil pressure and gas gauge all
to work except Tack RPM....STARTED Sunday 8 0f Nov. 2009 . it took me 9
from 11am to about 6/7pm in a Storage unit! No electricity only lights
hooked from a battery. Thank God for the Good weather! Finished Tuesday
17 Nov. 2009
This was done by Myself! All Alone! the only help i got was to take the
hood off And put it back. If anyone says he or she even handed me a
tool...They are lying!!!
The truck took off like a shot...i think it pulls better than in the
car...maybe because of the larger torque converter. OH yes
and the 4X4 works!
When i made this video...There was and still lots to do...the winter came
and its to cold out, but as of today..17 feb 2010 the truck is running...i

Two things to do to get max power from the MB Motor...
Don't depend on the IP to suck fuel from the tank...it will never get
proper flow...Install a Pickup Pump!
Also don't forget to Advance the IP about a 25 cent width...or little more
if necessary .....
One more thing..DON"T RUN UVO! it will ruin the injectors.
run 50/50 Diesel and U. Transmission Fluid.

Mercedes-Benz Future Truck 2025: world premiere of the spectacular study of
tomorrow's trucks – autonomous driving into an exciting future
From a vision to reality – the spectacular Mercedes-Benz Future Truck
2025 study will be providing a visually exciting and technically feasible
take on the long-distance truck of tomorrow at the 2014 International
Commercial Vehicle show (IAA). In ten years' time, trucks could be driving
autonomously on motorways. Transport efficiency will increase, traffic will
be safer for all road users, and fuel consumption and CO2 emissions will be
further reduced. To do this Mercedes-Benz connects existing assistance
systems with enhanced sensors to the "Highway Pilot" system. Autonomous
driving is already possible at realistic speeds and in realistic motorway
traffic situations. The Mercedes-Benz Future Truck 2025 provides a glimpse
of the future shape of trucks.
