This 1967 Impala is a real code 68 SS coupe with factory A/C that has lived
its entire life in California. Beautifully proportioned and with beautiful
curves in all the right places, there was no question that Chevy was
serious about making a big splash with the Impala. But when you have a car
as big as this, and decide to paint all that sheetmetal black, you know it
had better be perfect. Fortunately, this one is a solid car that needed
very little work to look as good as it does. From the simple, unadorned
front end to the quasi-fastback tail, this is an extremely straight car
that does its black paint justice. Panel gaps are good all around, and
nobody will miss you when you pull into the local cruise with this sinister
69 Chevy Caprice 396cid SURVIVOR - Now w MUSIC
FOR SALE: 69 Chevy Caprice, 396 with high performance cam, TH400, disc PB
(very strong),PS,PW and air condition (works). One of the rare really good
survivors with just 28.000 orig. miles on it!! From a car collector of San
Diego, California (see plates), never saw snow, much rain and too much
heavy sun, garage kept, orig., nearly perfect interior, very nice chrome
and paint, very nice vinyl roof,
Very good running 396 big block - acceleration like a late 60's Muscle Car
(or better like the very rare Full Size Muscle Cars, like the 70 Plymouth
Sport Fury GT with the mighty 440 "big block hunter" with 375HP...)
Nevertheless the car rides smooth and quiet -"like ride on air" - the
suspension is not worn out, you really will enjoy that!
If you're searching for one of the last "Land Yacht Survivors" with
outstanding performance - just make an offer above 16.500 Euros...
IT LOOKES, PERFORMES AND RIDES LIKE 2/3 YEARS OLD - NOT 41 YEARS!! JUST
STEP IN AND SHIFT ON "D" ::::::::: ::: :: :
P.S. If you have a good audio system on your PC; turn the subwoofer UP the
last 30 seconds of the video... then you can hear the deep sound coming up
from the crankcase of the old cast iron big block motör... ;-))
65 Chevy Impala SS
This is my first car, a '65 Impala SS - which I bought as a high school
senior in 1972. Restoration started in '80, painted in '85 -- and still
cruising today. I'm keeping it "old school". Some things are just too
sweet to part with.
