Dakota R/T Six Pack EFI at the MATS 2014 autocross
Autocrossing the F&B 98 Dodge Dakota R/T with its magnum six pack intake at
the 2014 MATS show. Rich Stratford is driving the only truck in the
competition, posting a best time of 62.4 as compared to a winning 58
seconds posted by the highly modified purpose built rides on the course.
After the event we loaded it back up with all of the F&B booth stuff and
cruised back to San Diego. It was a lot of fun and we averaged 16mpg!

Dodge Dakota Autocross
It was a good day on july 31st when HHRT rolled up to the Tri County
Corvette Club autocross. Same day as the Brickyard 400 and the F1 race, but
most importantly, it was the day Farda would run his pickup in an
autocross. All 4,000 lbs of Fardas extended cab Dakota would be pitted
against a fleet of Corvettes, Subarus, BMW's and everything in between.
Physics won most of the time causing him to take out a few cones, but in
the end he came out with a clean run that actually beat a car or two.

How to Flush the Coolant and Replace the Thermostat in a 2002 Dodge Dakota
This vehicle had one of the worst cases of rusty coolant I've ever seen, so
I demonstrate how to drain the cooling system, flush all the old coolant
out, then backflush the radiator and the engine to clean the rust out of
the cooling system, and then replace the thermostat and bleed the cooling
FYI: I needed 1 1/2 jugs of concentrated coolant when I flushed the system,
so be sure to buy enough
