Randy Johns has worked HARD all off-season to convert his classic stepside
Chevy from big block gasser to 12v Cummins with VERY high Boost in time for River Rats and Trucks Gone
Wild at Mudfest....and he got it done! Initially it was spooling to upwards
of 100lbs of Boost, but with some
tuning and fuel regulation, it's making approximately 66lbs of Boost presently for everyday use.
Along the way, he set out to complete a late 70's model Chev with a Cummins
swap as well. This was to be a 14th birthday surprise for his son
Gunnar...and one heck of a great birthday gift it was!
Sabine River Rats was the first test ride for both trucks, and they each
did really well. On this hole towards the back, Gunnar really showed what
kinda driving skills he had and let that new truck show what it's got! Way
to go Gunnar!

4th Annual SRT-4 Six Flags Magic Mountain Meet
4th Annual SRT-4 Magic Mountain Meet took place on Saturday, July 14, 2012.
24 cars + wide open 5 freeway = win. We met for breakfast, jumped on the 5
north and headed towards Valencia. This meet was the biggest out of the 4
we've had. The group photo was small since most drivers went on their way
when we arrived at Six Flags.
