Turbo 5.3L w/ 4L80E and STOCK STALL
my turbo 5.3 trying to push through the
long 4l80e 1st gear using a stock converter.
3000 RPM stall installed. Problem at 5,500rpm, but you see the improvement.

v8 turbo 5.3L in a 87 gmc
i implanted a 03 5.3 liter engine and tranny in my 87 gmc 4x4. i built a
rear mount turbo system using a super t4
turbo and oil pump of off ebay.
wastegate set at 3 psi spikes to 5 psi. please leave comments thanks

10.3 @ 132mph - 5.3L + Turbonium
Robert's S10 out at the Memphis Motorsports Park on July 24, 2009. Got in
the 14psi spring for the wastegate and went out to see what she'd do. Only
got the Boost up to 17psi on this
run, but 132mph isn't too shabby. 1.5 60' was pretty decent. With a
little more work she might visit the single digit timeslips!
The truck has a junkyard 5.3L that hasn't been touched. It has a little T4
based T76 turbo pumping up the jams.
The built powerglide handles the shifting back to the 9" rearend. 4 link
in the rear with stock, cut springs up front. It's nothing fancy yet, but
it's going way faster than we
thought it would already. More parts and faster times are coming!
