The ex-"Awesome Bill from Dawsonville" Bill Elliott's 2000 Silver Anniversary NASCAR Ford Taurus road race car formerly sponsored by McDonald's. Built by Bill Elliott's race shop, chassis by Ronnie Hopkins, 358" Ford engine by Ernie Elliott, magnesium Jerico 4 speed and 9" Ford rear by Dan Elliott, chassis setup by Jim Barfield. This car's last NASCAR race was with Bill Elliott at the wheel at the Pepsi 400, Michigan International Speedway, in 2000 where it set a lap time of 38.006 at 189.15 MPH. Currently being prepared for vintage road racing by Colin's Classic Auto of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

I thought you'd like a look at this Chevrolet Monte Carlo Nascar Stock Car from Richard Childress Racing. This car was most recently used as a pit stop practice car, so it features a mild small block Chevy under the hood. It is, however, a fully functional and driving race car.
