2009 Porsche 911-997.2 Carrera S with Valvetronic Maxflo Mufflers
Now instead of manually switching inlet pipes to alter between a "Sport" setting and a "Quiet" setting, we've incorporated a valve which can be switched through a key-fob on the fly. Another innovative product designed for the Porsche 997.2 Carrera S. This video demonstrates the two sound differences between the "Sport" setting and "Quiet" setting. These dual-tone mufflers are prototypes and we are still in the testing phase at this time. These will be available for retail sale by the spring/summer of 2010.

► 2015 Porsche 911 Targa 4S - DRIVING
As with the predecessor model, the new Targa generation comes in two versions available exclusively with all-wheel drive. The 911 Targa 4 is powered by a 3.4-litre, 350 hp (257 kW) flat engine. Equipped with the Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) and Sport Chrono package, this model accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds and boasts a top speed of 282 km/h. Its NEDC fuel consumption figures are between 9.5 and 8.7 litres/100 km, depending on transmission, which corresponds to a CO2 emissions level of between 223 and 204 g/km. The top model is the 911 Targa 4S, which delivers 400 hp (294 kW) from a displacement of 3.8 litres. This model reaches a top speed of 296 km/h and, with the PDK and Sport Chrono package fitted, accelerates in 4.4 seconds. Its fuel consumption fluctuates between 10.0 and 9.2 litres per 100 km, depending on transmission, which corresponds to a CO2 level of between 237 and 214 g/km. With these figures, the model is on a par with the high standard set by the 911 Carrera 4 cabriolet models in terms of engine and road performance, as well as efficiency. Both sportscars are certified for compliance with the Euro 6 emissions standard. The new 911 Targa models will be launched onto the market in May 2014. In Germany, the 911 Targa costs EUR 109,338 and the 911 Targa S EUR 124,094, inclusive of VAT and country-specific equipment in each case. ► SUBSCRIBE NOW: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=youcarpress ► FACEBOOK: http://www.facebook.com/youcarpress ► TWITTER: http://www.twitter.com/youcartv ► GOOGLE+: http://plus.google.com/+YouCarPress

2014 Porsche 911 Targa 4S test review - Autogefühl
http://www.autogefuehl.de/2014/04/01/porsche-911-targa-4s-testbericht-erste -ausfahrt-mit-dem-bugel-konig/ Convertible registrations plunge everywhere, but one manufacturer is working against it: Porsche. Daring as they are, they even come up with a new model lacking any logic. The new Porsche 911 Targa comes with that classic 1965 roll-bar which makes it so unique. You dont really need it as a crucial element, but it just looks so awesome - and that's exactly the reason why they are building it. The Posche 911 Targa is only available as an all wheel drive, having the "4" has a name appendix. The 911 Targa 4 has a 3,4 litre flat twin engine with 350 hp - giving you the 0 to 100 kilometres or 0 to 60 miles acceleration in 4,8 seconds. The bigger sports brother 911 Targa 4 S comes with a 3,8 litre one and an extra of 40 hp, so 400 hp in total. That means 4,4 secs for the acceleration - and some more features. Like four instead of 2 Exhaust pipes, 20 inch alloys instead of 19 inch, a sports chassis residing 10 mm lower and bigger brake discs in the front. Porsche 997 Carrera 4S MKII In Action!
Mart records an astonishing and brand new Porsche 997 Carrera 4S Cabriolet MkII, doing accelerations, revving flybys etc! This video also shows you the interiour, exteriour and engine. IT also has the sport Exhaust system (which really sounds awesome) Note: This car is brand new so the owner couldn't rev it above the 5000rpm. Enough information! Haha! Turn up your speakers and listen to this great sounding car! Again really really thanks to the owner for this awesome expierience! Feel free to Comment & Rate! And if you don't want to miss any of my stuff, just suscribe! Thanks! -Mart.

2015 Porsche 918 Spyder First Test: Fastest 0-60 Time Ever? Plus Porsche 959! - Ignition Ep. 109
On this week's Ignition, Carlos Lago has a second go at Porsche's 918 hypercar. The goal: to run the 918 through the full gauntlet of MT's instrumented testing, including 0-60, quarter mile, braking, figure 8, and a blistering real-time hot lap around Big Willow race track with pro driver Randy Pobst. Carlos also gets a rare chance to experience the 918's ancestor, the Porsche 959. The 959 was a remarkable piece of automobile history that was decades ahead of its time with much of it's technology only appearing in common vehicles within the last ten years or so. The 918 attempts something very similar, featuring very advanced technology, including a naturally aspirated V8 that works with a seamlessly integrated electric motor to provide extra Boost. Can Porsche's new hypercar achieve the same effect that its predecessor did? Only time will tell, but stay tuned for the record-breaking review. 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S: The Most Capable Grand Tourer? Ignition Ep. 104
On this episode of Ignition, Jonny Lieberman has a go with perhaps the most capable grand touring car on the market, the new Porsche 911 turbo S. Combining 560 horsepower, upwards of 553 lb-ft of torque and several cows' worth of leather. Embarking on a cross continental trip in the dead of winter, Jonny begins in frosty Georgia and heads all the way back to Motor Trend's headquarters in Southern California. Along the way he traverses ten States, meets up with friends like Randy Pobst and John Hennessey, examines why Americans are so found of road trips and just generally enjoys the hell out of one of the quickest production cars on earth, the mighty 911 turbo S.
