Last night I had the urge to go out and just shoot something. Since I've began modifying my car, I've been meaning to do a little feature.
The footage was taken with a Canon 5D MKII using various Canon and Nikon glass (50mm 1.4, 16-35mm 2.8, and 80-200mm 2.8). I used the Indifocus Indieslider for all tracking/moving shots. Editing was done in Final Cut Pro and graded using Magic Bullet Looks and Apple's Color Corrector 3-Way Plug-in.
Please note this car is a work in progress. I understand I may get some hate for the "illest" references, but driving a slammed car where I live is not practical, and downright impossible. One day, but right now it just isn't in the cards.

Two-Tone (A short film about the cleanest S13 out there)
This car got featured in Performance And Sound Magazine (PAS mag). It is
one of the first Nissan Silvias imported into Quebec. It's a Nissan Silvia
S13 1989. The owner now had it for 5 years. It's been his summer car and
drift car. Normally, drift cars are all destroyed and have the "drifting
style" with zip-ties and destroyed corner panels and are most of the time
in a garage because theirs something wrong with it.
This car is an exception. He never got back home on a tow-truck. The car
has only one small scratch because of a tire that exploded a couple of
years ago and that's it. The car is mint! The engine bay is also among one
of the cleanest ones I've seen.
He is passionate about his car and that's what I tried to show in the
video. Two-Tone was a school project, I only had a couple of weeks to film
it and out of luck, it was raining most of the time.
I hope you will like this video and enjoy the cleanest of the car.

600WHP Subaru Impreza STi - Anti Lag and Cyclic Idle in Car Demo
Just put some finishing touches on tuning the anti lag to make it smoother.
Flipping the switch opens throttle plate 20% and engine runs on cyclic idle
@ 1,700rpm. When I step on the gas and engine rpm exceeds 3,000rpm and 30%+
throttle plate opening, anti lag is on. If engine rpm is under 3,000rpm for
5 seconds or more anti lag turns off and goes back to cyclic idle until I
flip the switch off.
At idle with anti lag on it's about 1-2psi Boost at 2,700rpm. Free revving it up I can
reach 5-10psi with no engine load.
BEFORE anyone asks how you get it and if you want it. Anti-lag is EXTREMELY
hard on the engine. You would need forged pistons, and built heads at a
minimum. The valvetrain takes a beating so inconel/super alloy Exhaust valves would be a must as long with
aftermarket valve springs. Also you're going to need a STRONG header.
Explosions are going on in there.
