( http://www.TFLcar.com ) For 2013 the Audi Allroad Quattro is back in the United States and ready to take on both the more and less traveled roads of America. Unlike the previous Allroad the new 2013 Quattro is based on the Audi A4 Avant and not the A6. But Audi says the new car is just as big as the previous Allroad and better yet it gets better fuel economy. And according to Audi, it is even faster. So we (of course) wanted to find out not only how it drives on the road but just as importantly importantly off the road. Check out this first drive review and we test the new 2013 Audi Allroad Quattro in the rugged mountains of Colorado.
2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Drive and Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) For 2013 the Hyundai Genesis Coupe is new with a
restyled and more sculpted body, a larger engine and an 8 speed automatic
transmission. We recently had the chance to spend a week with the 3.8 Grand
Touring model to check out the changes that Hyundai made to this sporty GT.
In this drive and review Nathan and Roman have very different opinions
about the new Hyundai Genesis Coupe. Check it out as the boys completely
2012 Range Rover Sport vs Evoque Colorado snow-worthy Mashup Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2012 Range Rover Sport and RR Evoque are some
of the most off-road worthy cars you can buy. But which one is better in
the snow? Or to be even more specific, which one is better in three feet of
newly fallen Colorado powder. We decided to find out in this snow-worthy
review by driving both Range Rovers to Gold Hill, Colorado up Lick Skillet
Road. Lick Skillet Road is one of the steepest country roads in America,
and when it snows three feet the road not only gets slick but also very
slippery. So which one of these two British cars is the best in the snow.
The old establish Range Rover or the up stark newbie Evoque. Check out this
video review to find out.
2013 Audi Allroad vs Lexus RX 350 Off-Road Mashup Drive & Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) Let's face it the 2013 Audi Allroad and the
Lexus RX 350 will spend more time traversing American shopping mall parking
lots than bouncing over boulders in the great outdoors. But the Audi is
called an Allroad and the Lexus has a locking differential so perhaps these
vehicles can venture off-road. we decided to find out in this TFLcar
Off-Road Mashup Drive & Review. Which of the two is the most off-road
worthy and which of the two should you buy if you happen to cross shop the
two modern vehicles.
Audi A6 allroad quattro
Normalerweise sind die Offroad-Versionen populärer Oberklasseautos nur
bedingt geländetauglich. Der A6 allroad ist chic, er belehrt uns aber auch
abseits des Asphalts eines besseren.
Audi A4 Allroad vs. VW Passat Alltrack OFFROAD
In October 2010 Volkswagen presented at the 2010 Tokyo Motor Show the
Passat Alltrack. The Passat Alltrack bridges the gap between the passenger
VW range and the SUV range comprising the Tiguan and Touareg.
The Passat Alltrack has raised ground clearance from 135 to 165 mm which
improves approach angle from 13.5 to 16 degrees, departure angle from 11.9
to 13.6 degrees and ramp angle from 9.5 to 12.8 degrees when compared to
the standard Passat wagon. Passat Alltrack is the only VW in the passenger
range to offer 4Motion with off road driving programme, the off road system
works in conjunction with the ABS, electronic differential lock (EDL), DSG
& hill descent assist system to control the vehicle in an off road
The engine range of the Passat Alltrack consists of two 2.0L TDI with
outputs of 103 kW/140 hp & 125 kW/170 hp and two petrol engines, 1.8L
producing 118 kW/160 hp and 2.0L TSI producing 155 kW/207 hp. The TDI
models come standard with BlueMotion Technology packages with Stop/Start
system and battery regeneration mode for recovering braking energy. The two
lesser powered engine variants 2.0L TDI and 1.8L TSI are only available in
front wheel drive format with a manual 6 speed transmission. The rest of
the range with 4Motion has a 6 speed DSG automated manual transmission,
except the 2.0L TDI with 103 kW/140 hp has an option of 6 speed manual.
In 2012 at the New York Auto Show, VW showed a Passat Alltrack with 2.0L
TDI 125 kW/170 hp under Alltrack Concept nameplate to gauge response for a
future market in the offroad wagon segment.
Audi released the first official pictures of the B8 series A4 in August
2007, and unveiled the car to the public at the September 2007 Frankfurt
Motor Show. Saloon/sedan and Avant (estate/wagon) models are offered. The
Avant was unveiled to the public at the March 2008 Geneva Motor Show.
The B8 A4 is built on a variant of the Audi Modular Longitudinal Platform,
a platform which is also used in the Audi A5 coupé. Whilst prior A4
chassis were limited in wheelbase due to the relationship between the
engine, transmission and front axle, the MLP allows for a reduced front
overhang, resulting in a greater wheelbase length without the same increase
in overall length. This effectively redistributes the centre of gravity
slightly rearwards, improving handling by better balancing vehicle mass
between the front and rear axles. The estimated static front:rear weight
ratio of the B8 A4 is approximately 55:45, depending on body style and
engine. The relocation of the steering rack in front of the axle also
improves handling over previous A4 platforms.
The B8 A4 has increased in wheelbase by 160 millimetres (6.3 in) and in
length by 117 millimetres (4.6 in) over the prior B7, which has allowed for
increased rear seating legroom. Although the overall dimensions have
increased, the kerb weight has dropped some 10%. The boot (trunk) has also
increased to 480 litres (17.0 cu ft) for the saloon (sedan) version. The A4
Avant will have a maximum capacity of 1,430 L (50.5 cu ft) with the rear
seats folded down.
Reception has been mixed, with praise for the Audi A4's increased size,
giving it best-in-class rear legroom and trunk space in the compact
executive car segment. Its inline-4 2.0 TFSI engine, while efficient
providing plenty of torque, was considered lacking and less refined
compared to 6-cylinder engines of lighter rivals who posted faster acceleration times. However, the Audi
S4 sports sedan has been well-received for its V6 3.0 TFSI engine's power
The B8 A4 was facelifted in early 2012, and is on sale now.
► 2012 Audi A4 Allroad OFFROAD
With its permanent all-wheel drive, the A4 allroad quattro is equally at
home on road and off. It is somewhat larger, particularly in height, than
the A4 Avant on which it is based. It offers 180 millimeters (7.09 in) of
ground clearance, and distinctive design details underscore its powerful
character. Here, too, the trunk holds from 490 to 1,430 liters (17.30 to
50.50 cu ft) of luggage. Optional features include a load-securing set and
an electromechanical rear hatch.
The Audi A4 allroad quattro is available with a choice of one gasoline and
three diesel engines. The 2.0 TDI with 105 kW (143 hp) combines the
recuperation system with the start-stop system. Like the 2.0 TDI with 125
kW (170 hp), it is available only with a six-speed manual transmission. The
seven-speed S tronic is available as an option for the 2.0 TFSI and the 3.0

The four-wheel-drive A4 allroad quattro is a chunky looking car that blends
the practicality of the A4 Avant executive estate and the traction of a
4x4. It gets jacked-up suspension and Audi's quattro four-wheel-drive
system. It's only available as an estate, and offers just three engine
choices. Neither BMW nor Mercedes-Benz offer direct competitors, but the
Subaru Legacy Outback and Saab 9-3X offer similar appeal.

2014 Audi RS5 vs 2014 Mercedes-Benz C63 507 Coupe! - Head 2 Head Ep. 51
On this episode of Head 2 Head, Jonny Lieberman sets out to discover which
German hot-rod-personal-luxury-coupe is the best you can get. The 507 Coupe
is the last iteration of the W204 C63. With the exception of the very
limited-run Black Series, it's the best C63 that AMG has ever done. Under
its hood sits a hand-built, 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V-8 good for 507
more do you want? Perhaps something more high-tech, and that's where the
Audi RS5 comes in. The sexy coupe from Quattro GmbH in Neckarsulm features
a 4.2-liter V-8 that spits out 450 hp. That¹s less power than the 507
Coupe makes, true, but the Audi also features AWD, a dual-clutch
transmission, bigger wheels and tires, plus a trick torque-vectoring rear
differential. Which one is quicker? Which one is more fun to drive? Which
one is best? Watch and find out!
