Looking for a Mercedes-Benz that will turn heads? The Mercedes-Benz A170
may just be the car for you. For a peppy and extremely well designed
vehicle that is skimpy on petrol use, the A170 has all this and more.
Fire the little Mercedes-Benz A170 up, and the motor spins freely into
life. The 1.7 litre engine breathes in normally aspirated fashion and has
fuel injection that, with pin-point accuracy, feeds the fuel into the
combustion chamber with frugality always its main goal. The 85 kW engine
is a four cylinder unit that loves to perform, making the 0-100 km/h sprint
in an accomplished ten to eleven second bracket. Whether in three-door or
five-door guise, and whether linked to the smooth five speed manual gearbox
or smooth CVT, progress is always swift and in control.
Mercedes-Benz also goes the extra mile for safety, with the use of front,
side and window airbags that run the length of the windows. Seatbelt force
limiters and pretensioners also add to greater safety. There are front and
rear ABS brakes with brake assist to ensure you stop very smartly.
Mercedes also has added Stability Control with crash-responsive front head
The A170 comes with air-conditioning, tinted windows, power locks, height
adjustable driver's seat, a rain-sensing windscreen wipers, automatic
headlamps both front and rear fog lights. The Mercedes-Benz A170 engineers
also went the extra mile when designing the interior for room and comfort.
The seats are conforming and quite comfortable, and there is ample room for
everyone. The comfort doesn't stop there: the suspension is designed to
provide a more comfortable and smooth ride, even over rough, harsh
surfaces. Mercedes has done this without sacrificing stability and
The Mercedes-Benz A170 holds its own on the road in a very accomplished
fashion, and provides an extremely competitve package that is economic in
purchase price and in running costs. Certainly one for the small-car

2014 Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG 4MATIC Coupe (C217) , we hope you will like our
video review as well. Make sure you don't miss the Start Up and the Exhaust sound.
The new S 63 AMG Coupé is the latest dream car to augment the Mercedes-AMG
model range. Exciting lines underpin this two-door model's design.
Dominance and sensual purity combine to lend the vehicle irresistible
presence and effortlessly superior sportiness. Equally impressive is the
combination of high driving dynamics, ambitious lightweight construction
and groundbreaking efficiency. As the most powerful member of the
BlueDIRECT engine family, the AMG 5.5-litre V8 biturbo engine is a paragon of poise and assurance.
Boasting an output of 430 kW (585 hp) and 900 Nm of torque, the S 63 AMG
Coupé delivers exceptional performance with remarkably low fuel
consumption. Performance-oriented AMG 4MATIC all-wheel drive is available
as an option. And there is a world first in the shape of the curve tilting
function, part of the MAGIC BODY CONTROL suspension system, to further
enhance both driving pleasure and comfort.

As with the transmission, customers also get a choice when it comes to the
AMG sports suspension: the rear-wheel-drive S 63 AMG Coupé is equipped
with MAGIC BODY CONTROL, while the all-wheel-drive version of the two-door
model features the full air-suspension system AIRMATIC with the adaptive
damping system ADS PLUS. Specific front axle kinematics -- including higher
camber, a larger anti-roll bar and a stiffer subframe carrier on the rear
axle -- have been developed exclusively for the S 63 AMG Coupé 4MATIC.
These measures enhance the vehicle's agility when driving dynamically.
2014 Audi RS5 vs 2014 Mercedes-Benz C63 507 Coupe! - Head 2 Head Ep. 51
On this episode of Head 2 Head, Jonny Lieberman sets out to discover which
German hot-rod-personal-luxury-coupe is the best you can get. The 507 Coupe
is the last iteration of the W204 C63. With the exception of the very
limited-run Black Series, it's the best C63 that AMG has ever done. Under
its hood sits a hand-built, 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V-8 good for 507
more do you want? Perhaps something more high-tech, and that's where the
Audi RS5 comes in. The sexy coupe from Quattro GmbH in Neckarsulm features
a 4.2-liter V-8 that spits out 450 hp. That¹s less power than the 507
Coupe makes, true, but the Audi also features AWD, a dual-clutch
transmission, bigger wheels and tires, plus a trick torque-vectoring rear
differential. Which one is quicker? Which one is more fun to drive? Which
one is best? Watch and find out!

355bhp Mercedes A45 AMG driven flat out - autocar.co.uk
The Mercedes A45 AMG is the first AMG to be powered by a four-cylinder
engine. But with 355bhp any doubts as to its performance evaporate. Could
this be the first hyper hot hatch? Steve Sutcliffe finds out.

The Mercedes A45 AMG is the German car-maker's first proper hot hatch, and
with the world's most powerful production 2.0-litre petrol engine, it marks
quite an entrance. The hand-built motor is allied with four-wheel drive
instead of the driven rear wheels of its main rival, the BMW M135i, and
gets the AMG to 62mph in 4.6 seconds. Steve Sutcliffe drove it flat-out on
track to find out if handles as well as it goes.
