1,600 Horsepower Duramax Diesel Kit from PPE
At ARP's Open House in June of 2010, PPE brought several of their show
motors, including this Twin turbo
Duramax diesel kit that utilizes a lot of ARP hardware. It makes 1,600 horsepower and PPE
only uses ARP fasteners to hold everything together. Eric Sempson of PPE
gives Chris Raschke from ARP an overview of this powerful engine package.

Duramax's hole shot
A set of Duramax's hole shots. Both trucks are 600+ hp. Both have built
trans from Merchant Automotive. Red truck is Fuel heavy. Tan truck is
fuel hungry. Both 4x4. Red truck is lifted 6in and 35s. Both have tie
rod sleeves, and ladder bars.

MadTunes Racing GMC Duramax vs Bobby Pardue's Camaro SS 2010 Indy Edition
I beat Bobby on the tree and finished over a tenth of a second in front of
the Camaro in a heads
up run. The duramax spun all 4 off the line and actually got a worse 60'
than the Camaro (2.04
for the gmc and 2.01 for the Camaro). The duramax had a
better 1/8 mile et but the Camaro beat my quarter mile time
(13.79 for the gmc and 13.71 for the ss). My best run of the night was a
13.60 but never could lauch above 2 lbs Boost due to traction issues. I have had low
1.8 60' times when I lower the torsion bars but I was too lazy on this day.
Bobby's car ran a 13.49 best on the night. His Camaro is bone stock and not even
broken in yet. Enjoyed the runs Bobby! Let me know when you are ready to
tune that beauty!

Nitrous on for this pass and hurt
traction even more.

MadTunes Racing Jimmy Hitt's TransAm vs David Underwood's S-10 and the Duramax vs a 2010 SS Camaro
There are 2 runs on this video. Jimmy Makes an 11.80 pass in his TranAm
against David Underwoods low 12 second S-10. Jimmy's car went a best of
11.68 @ 116 on this day but the video was sub-par so I didn't post it. The
second race is my duramax against Bobby Pardue's Indy Edition Camaro SS. Bobby left on me
pretty good in this race (.26 r/t for the Camaro and .57 for the diesel)
and it was not even close. The duramax ran a 13.60 vs the Camaro's 13.49. With a better
60' both the Camaro and
the diesel should hit some pretty low 13s. Enjoyed the runs Bobby!
