Porsche 944 Turbo on Lime Rock Park Track
Note: I am not the driver in this video nor is this my car. I was just
lucky enough to get a ride along during the filming of it which was done by
mounting a GoPro 2 to the front bumper.
This is a 1986 Porsche 944 turbo (aka
951) running during a HPDE (high performance driving event) day at Lime
Rock Park in Lime Rock, CT. The car is a dual purpose modified
street/track car that puts out about 250 HP. These laps were a little bit
slower than usual because the driver (Sylvain Lessard) had just put on new
tires (TOYO RA1 DOT) and wanted to heat cycle them a few times before
running them hard. Any questions or comments can be posted about the car
and/or driver and I will gladly pass them on. Thanks for watching.
