NASCAR Racing at Irwindale Speedway: Back To Front
Irwindale CA, Sep 28 2013 - It's great to have NASCAR back in Southern
California. The Whelen All-American Series is the reason for being --
Irwindale Event Center being a reasoned locale. Having started in March,
with 2 races left in the season and everything still up for grabs it's now
or never to make it happen.
NASCAR is racing for all folks, all ages and all types. At the on-track
autograph session Rodney "the Rodent" Peacher recalled how he bought his
way into racing with $400, no motor or transmission or any real idea what
he was doing. His signature Rodent mascot has finally made it to vinyl on
the hood [the stuffed rat kept blowing off during the race:)].
The Lucas Oil sponsored Late Models division offered drama for the
occasion. Season points leader Ryan Partridge had a vested interest in
remaining so -- against Toni McCray's hard charging desire to supplant the
leader. Each starting back in the pack (Ryan 6th), they both blew past the
pack; Ryan down low, Toni a little higher. Turns out a 1-2 finish -- watch
the video to see whom is which.
Save one pileup into the tires on turn one, the teams and drivers delivered
without compromise. Now with 1 night of races to decide, it's time for a
special delivery. Final races start 7 pm Saturday October 5 2013.

Truck Fest 2013: Smokey Big Rigs Burnouts & Drag Racing Revealed
( http://www.TFLtruck.com ) When you think of a Big Rig Semi...you probably
don't immediately think of drag racing...or do you? This weekend at
Bandimere Speedway just outside of Denver, Colorado hundreds of Big Rig
Semi trucks lined up on the drag strip to see which one is the kind of the
mile high drag strip and which one is the fastest mile high pickup
dragster. Can a big rig run a sub 20 second quarter mile? You bet. Can a
big rig run a sub 15 mile....no problem. Can a Big Rig run a sub 10 second
time? You'll have to watch the video to find out. In another fun and
informative TFLtruck video we see what happens when the Big Rig Semi Trucks
line up behind the Christmas Tree.

Two vehicles compete in a single drag race
where everything about the race is negotiable, from the lanes, the
distance, the car lengths and the start. One race, one negotiation, one
chance to get it right! Once the negotiation is finalized, the vehicles
line up and the first racer to the finish-line, wins. The winner earns $500
and the right to compete another day. The loser's VIN number is recorded
and that vehicle is DONE forever....banned for life from the show. Any
vehicle that stays undefeated for 10 races, will win a $50,000 bonus!
Rich Christensen created and will host the series which will also feature
Morgan Lucas, NHRA Top Fuel competitor and son of MAVTV owner Forrest
Lucas. Episodes will be shot the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month at the
