Dodge Dakota Brakes and Rotors Here are some of the basic steps I do when replacing front brakes. The Dodge Dakota here was metal on metal so we also replaced the rotors.There was a anti rattle clip missing also ,Make sure and replace any missing ones. I use Silicone brake grease on the slides and where pads slide along any metal.
