I have tested these to fit perfectly on 82-93 Mustangs & Capris. The 79-81 seats I
examined did not have the holes present. These would fit, but would require
removing the seat and drilling two 3/8" holes.
Also fits the following Ford vehicles:
84-94 Ford Tempo/Topaz 2dr & 4dr
92-96 Ford F150/F250 extended cab with bucket seats
90-97 Ford Ranger extended cab with bucket seats
89-90 ford Escort 2dr
97 Ford explorer
Here is the model of extinguishers that bolt directly to this bracket:
H3R performance Max Out 2.5lb bottle
- p/n MX250B black
- p/n MX250R red
- p/n MX250C Chrome
These can be found at Summit Racing for $70-80 range
Will accept many other brand 2.5lb fire extinguisher bottles
FWIW, this is cheap insurance for a car fire.
