The 2015 Corvette Z06: Is it Enough?
The C7 Z06 is being asked to carry the mantle of both track toy and
supercar - does the latest, greatest Chevy have shoulders broad enough for
the task? Can it replace both the C6 Z06 and ZR1, or does asking it to fill
both roles mean it doesn't excel at either? We drive the new top Corvette
on the track and street to answer that question.

1985 C4 Corvette-Kart vs. 2014 Lingenfelter C7! - Roadkill Ep. 35
On this episode of Roadkill, we hack the entire body off a C4 Corvette,
cage it, and call it a race car! Freiburger and Finnegan fulfill a dream
that began four-plus years ago when they first wrote the "Vette Hack"
article for HOT ROD magazine, slicing 900 pounds of ugly fiberglass off of
a 1985 Corvette to prove that it would handle better in the autocross. Less
weight means more acceleration, better cornering, and better stopping. The
idea is proven once again here as the guys add a 350-horsepower rat-rod engine,
rebuild the trans, remove more weight, and make it rigid, safe, and stylish
with a full rollcage. Next, they head into a shootout with a 2014 Corvette
upgraded by Lingenfelter Performance Engineering with an Edelbrock blower,
Kooks headers, and Corsa Exhaust for a
wicked-sounding 640 horsepower. And then, of
course, there's the off-road mayhem. The Vette Kart rocks!
Roadkill appears every fourth Friday on the Motor Trend channel.

2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Review
The all-new Corvette Stingray Z06 is the fastest Corvette to date. With
650hp and 650 lb.ft. of torque, the latest Z06 and Z07 Corvette is track
ready yet city friendly.
2015 Corvette Z06 FIRST DRIVE vs ORIGINAL 1963 C2 STINGRAY Z06
MotoMan drives the 650 HP 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 C7 but also goes back in
time to drive the car that started it all . . . One of the ORIGINAL 199
Chevrolet Corvette RPO Z06 Stingray Split window Coupes (C2) built in 1963.
While he drives both on the road, MotoMan puts them both on the rack to
demonstrate the MANY differences – then and now – between a garden
variety Corvette and the track focused RPO Z06 . . .

2010 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Start Up, Exterior/ Interior Tour
Much thanks goes out to Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine, TX and Internet
Sales Manager, Justin Norwood and his staff for making this tour possible.
If anyone has any questions, wants more information about Classic
Chevrolet, or wishes to come see a vehicle and/ or view current inventory,
Here I bring you the 2010 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 in Torch Red with a Jet
Black leather interior. I give a full walk-around and tour on the Z06 as
well as start the engine, and go over a few of the major features and
performance figures along the way.
The 2010 Corvette Z06 still retains the C6 chassis code that was introduced
in 2006. The Z06 is one of the most powerful Corvettes to be produced and
driven today, second best only to its new brother, the ZR1. The massive
engine compartment, covered by the signature forward-hinged hood, houses a
7.0L LS7 V8 that pounds out a whopping 505 hp and 500 lb/ ft of torque.
The 7.0L LS7 V8 is the largest V8 to ever be mass produced and built by GM
for any car, and each engine is hand-built. Mated to a 6 speed manual
transmission, 0-60 comes up in a screaming 4 seconds. The Z06's wide rear
tires and rear mounted transmission give it enough grip to frighten even
the most hardened of drivers. The Vette seems rather docile and quiet upon
start up, but only due to the butterfly valves inside the Exhaust. Open the taps a little bit, and
suddenly you are surrounded by a mass of explosive noise as the engine
comes to life. All around, the Z06 is a one mean Vette you don't want to
mess with, unless you want a massive thrashing!
Corvette Z06 0-190 MPH
Its a 2006 Corvette Z06 on a air base going 0-190. Not me driving, wasnt
there. from motor trend.
open cutout rev, 1st-4th gear in car
vid of my old 02 ws6 with 443 rwhp, open cutout rev, and in-car run through
yes... it is a ws6. i sold the ws6 hood and put a trans am hood on it (i
find them better looking).
the 'noise' you hear on the 1-2 shift is coins/keys jangling in the cup
holder. I did NOT miss 2nd gear.
mods were as follows:
GTP stage 2 heads, lsx 90mm intake/tb, underdrive pulley, slp airlid,
smooth bellows, custom tune, custom grind cam (.591/.595, 230/232 112lsa),
longtubes, cat delete, 3" cutout, B&B catback with quad tips.
stock trans with B&M shifter, ram HD clutch, adjustable master cylinder.
Moser 9" with aluminum center section, 3.90 gears with detroit locker
susp: stock front, adjustable rear shocks, BMR panhard rod, double
adjustable lower control arms
Nitto 315/35/17 555 drag radials
