1963 1/2 Ford Galaxie 406 405HP
1963 1/2 Ford Very Rare Galaxie 500 Fastback. Very few 406s were produced in the sleek Fastback body. The new 427 was to be introduced in this body but during a 14 day transition period Fords ten plants building full size cars produced a handful of fastback 406s to use up the 406 inventory. These late 406s used cross bolt mains, a forged steel crank, mechanical lifters and header-style cast iron Exhaust manifolds popularized on the 427. Around 90 total G code 406s were built in the Fastback body. Not sure how many are left as I have not seen another one in person. The only one I have seen was in a 1995 Muscle Car Review Magazine which was black with red interior.
This is a all original un-restored 30k mile car. Factory special ordered G code 6-V 406 405hp engine. Have the original window sticker. Correct T10
4-speed, 3 inch brakes, heavy duty springs, 9 inch rear, Moser 31 spline axles, 350 gears. Original and rare factory 15x5.5 Kelsey Hays wheels.
Options-Sandshell beige paint, Padded dash, Sun visors, AM radio, Seat belts, Clock, Tinted glass.
Also have chrome reversed wheels which are on the car in the video as well as a set of 5-spoke Americans. Looks, runs and drives excellent.
There were a lot more 427 cars built in this body style. Making this exceptional unrestored high performance 406 one of the rarest Fastback Galaxies built.

Driving my 1965 Ford Galaxie 500XL 445 Stroker Ford FE
Driving my Hot Rod 1965 Galaxie 500XL with a 390 FE Ford base 445 FE Stroker engine. It has an Edelbrock RPM intake with a MightyDemon 800 carb and Edelbrock heads. A Comp solid lifter falt tappet cam with .605 lift and 248 deg duration at .050 lift Harland Sharp Roller Rockers and shafts, billet rocker stands with end stands. Transmission is a TCI Streetfighter C-6 with 3500 stall convertor and 3.70 gears, Tracl-Loc Differential, Currie Nodular 9", Billet Pinion Retainer and 31 spline forged alloy axles.

1963 Ford Galaxie Country Squire Wagon STK # 1088
Did the original owner want to tow but need to haul a family or did he have a hot rod and did not want to give up the power and muscle for the family? Whoever he is, his order was cast for this rare 1963 Ford Galaxie Country Squire because it is a factory big block car with a 4 speed manual transmission. The original 390ci expired and the motor was replace with a 428ci V8 Cobra Jet motor attached to the original 4 speed manual. Painted the original Corinthian White with wood exterior with light beige D/L and pearl beige interior. Originally built and sold out of Ford's L.A. assembly line and district sales office. The door tag confirms this Country Squires rarity with an axle code of 5 for a 3.50:1 rear gear and trans code of 5 for a 4 speed manual transmission. The original owner obviously wanted the meanest wagon on the block able to destroy unassuming muscle cars in California that would never imagine what was packaged next to them or tow the camper to the country for a nice weekend. Either way this is a special car with a unique order combination seldom found today.
