Nissan TB48 turbo Torque Monster Dyno tuning a Nissan
Patrol TB48 4.8L six. The engine is now rebuilt with forged pistons and
rods and features a custom JPC turbo at
10psi Boost and MoTeC EFI. Not built
for outright power, but instead good throttle response and reliability the
engine will be going into an off-road dirt truck. Initially making close to
600Ib.ft at just 3000rpm, torque was backed off for the truck's first
shake down runs. A final figure of 559hp was achieved, not bad for a low Boost application.
1000+hp Nissan RB30 - KANARIS Engines
The single cam RB30 made a solid 800hp on 98 octane unleaded petrol on
30psi Boost before initial tuning on
C16 race fuel saw figures of 1025hp / 847Ib.ft on 43psi Boost.
Nissan turbo RB powered Holden Torana ~ ERAZOR
A fullBoost favourite! ~ Rob's
Holden LX Torana SS sounding sweet on JPC's chassic Dyno and backing it up at the
track. The car is powered by a Nissan RB26/30 inline six cylinder engine
and Boosted by a custom built JPC
Garrett based turbocharger. This is the
first time the car has run on E85 fuel, previously running deep into the
9-second zone on regular pump unleaded.
