4th Annual SRT-4 Magic Mountain Meet took place on Saturday, July 14, 2012. 24 cars + wide open 5 freeway = win. We met for breakfast, jumped on the 5 north and headed towards Valencia. This meet was the biggest out of the 4 we've had. The group photo was small since most drivers went on their way when we arrived at Six Flags.
Local car's/car club meet for the day. Pictures will be in a part 2 video
which should be uploaded shortly. In actual we had the Del Slow, Cobalt
SS/SC, 3 SRT-4's, Ford Focus, the bike, Corvette, Two 2g Neon's, 08 STI,
others that showed up and left included 2 other SRT-4's, Procharged SRT-8
Challenger, Mazda Miata Camaro SS, built Civic, and this
and that. Video 2 coming soon!
How to Remove Transmission from an SRT-4
A few of us SRT-4 enthusiasts got together to make a how-to video on how to
remove a clutch from the Neon. If you're using the SRT-4 manual or a how-to
guide from one of the many car forums, you can reference this video if
you're unsure of step in the removal process. We're not professionals, just
car fanatics so please feel free to correct any errors. We hope this will
be useful. Good luck and post any questions you may have.
If you'd like a text version of the how to, you may access it via the
srtfourms. Thanks to jmihalchik for creating the "how to" that inspired
SRT-4 In-Car View: Drag Race
This is the first time I've attempted to make an in-car view. First clip is
of the normal race view from outside and then after that clip will be the
in-car view of the same race. I used my Motorola DROID and mounted it to
the bottom of the sunroof to get the in-car view. Seemed to work well as
far as seeing the guages but unfortunately you can't see outside or the
other car. I'll try to work out some other ways to mount it where maybe you
can see more in the video. Visit www.BoostedFools.com
SRT-4 Meet and Cruise to Six Flags PT.1
Met up with the homies and some other SRT-4 owners. Had a little meet and
took a cruise to spend a nice summer day at six flags. Driving like we
stole our srt's on interstate 5.
