1966 Corvair Corsa:A steal of a Deal (sometimes you can find a good buy!)
Purchased in June, here is a classic 140 hp Corvair that required minimal restoration costs and IS a good investment. The engine, rebuilt in 1985, has only 5-10K on it and runs like new. Restoration was less than $700 for some interior rips. The paint job is adequate and uniform, the lower side panels are very glossy but the hoods over time have lost their gloss top coating. On the highway, the car has a very solid feel to it and drives straight as an arrow. It was made in LA and has no serious rust issues.

Corvair differential stripping under 6 mn, can you beat it ?
Here Rafman taking a 65 Corvair differential apart, for rebuilding. Check tools being used for this job. Notice, with the right tools and tunes, things can roll pretty easy. Sometimes it can be real difficult, I guess I lucked out, what a rush, yeah !

CORVAIR MOVIE PART 2
Description The second half of the Corvair proving ground footage

Mid-Engine Crown Corvair: Porsche Cayman Fighter - /BIG MUSCLE
Owner: • Chuck Rust Wouldn't it have been great if the United States had one truly great mid-engine sports car? I mean yes, there was the Ford GT40, Ford GT and of course the Pontiac Fiero (that sucked though), but just imagine if American manufacturers really had their act together and created something awesome. Chuck Rust, the owner of this 1965 Corvair Crown V8, knew that the little Chevy had great potential and that with A LOT of work (and some ingenuity), it could be turn into something outstanding. This car is about fun, performance and proving people wrong. It sounds outstanding, has some of the best lines out there, and thanks to a little funky paint and graphic work from its' owner, has a presence that few cars can match. One of the most well balanced performers we've ever driven, this Corvair Crown had us grinning from ear to ear from the first moment we turned the key.

1965 Corvair coupe
I really like what this owner has done to this Corvair! Notice the center console housing all the gauges you wish you had as original equipment. Upholstery and paint are perfect! The engine compartment is a perfect example of the care and sense of beauty that this owner must have!

Look Look Look Rare 67 Corvair
This 67 Corvair is a bad lookin little streetrod.Custom body work that you won't find on many Corvairs.New Paint. Good interior. The car has the 140hp air-cooled 6 engine w/Muncie 4 -speed trans. It has a Fitch Sprint Fiberglass roof kit. The car has had the front end reworked and the rear end redone. Interior is in good shape....though not perfect... I have put an aftermarket steering wheel in but still have the original..Glass and rubber are in good condition.
