Mighty 6 at "No Mercy" Drag Race in Georgia
More info at mighty6.com! Mighty 6 competing at the No Mercy Heads Up outlaw drag racing event held in Georgia in October 2011. We went with the hopes of qualifying and we did just that. We qualified 16 out of 22 entries and ran our personal best 1/8 mile 5.506 @128.56 mph. This was with 275 M/T Drag Radials and NO wheelie bars. We still like to race 1/8 mile because it seems to be easy on parts and safety. We lost first round to the number one qualifier. It was a fun weekend and learned a bunch of tuning tips from other racers willing to help us out.

Vintage Hot Rod Straight 6 [S3 Ep.11-1]
Everybody knows that the engine is a central key component to ANY Hot Rod project. But is a V8 the only way to go? NO WAY!! Stacey shows you why. He takes a vintage straight six engine that has been sleeping in a crate for almost 40 years and he puts on the right pieces. He shows you why the straight six was a force to be reckoned with in the early days of hot rodding. After that, Stacey jumps into the tips and tricks of how to paint your own true Kandy paint job. If you are into vintage Hot Rods, Kandy paint, and multi-carbs? You don't need to go on a diet... you just need to watch GearZ!!!

First firing for Randy's 305 CI Chevy Inline 6 in his 57 Chevy truck .080 over, 10:1, port/ polish, 2.0 stainless intake valves, Clifford cam, Offy/ Weber induction, Mallory unilite, split headers into 2.5 dual Exhaust.

Hot Rod 292 six cylinder
This engine was a collaboration between my dad and his cousin. It's a 292, .030 over. It's been balanced. It's got JE forged pistons that puts it at about 10.5:1 compression. It has an Engle cam with 231 @ .050 duration and .565 lift. The head is a lump port head by Self with Ferrea 1.94/1.6 valves, K-Motion springs, Bill Smith pushrods, and Harland Sharp 1.75 roller rockers. The oil pan is a Hamburger aluminum pan, and the timing cover is a Frank pattern finned aluminum unit, and it has a custom made ATI Super Dampner and aluminum Fidenza flywheel. The intake manifold is a Clifford 4 barrel, with a 2" Super Sucker and currently has a Holley 750 carb on it., This is going in a '37 Ford pickup with a Richmond 5 speed behind it.

250 chevy inline dyno testing
This is one test being done on a Chevy 250 to find out what performance gains are found with different cams, intakes, heads and Exhaust upgrades. More info at http://www.12bolt.com

250 chevy inline 6 in 65 Chevelle wagon lump port head
This video was made to show how a street modified inline 6 can run. The cam and compression are street fuel friendly. Car weighs in at 3600 lbs empty. 2.56 rear gears Mileage is 20 MPG going 75-80 MPH I have owned this car since 2004. It sat in the garage waiting for a purpose. It had a 194 inline and a powerglide trans with 3.08 gears. In may of 2012 we decided to get it ready to take to the Inliners International Convention in Carson City Nevada. The 194 and trans were pulled. The 250 Dyno engine was installed. This engine was a Dyno mule to test different cams, heads, intakes and a turbo in my other videos. It has over 120 full throttle runs put to it on the Dyno. The trans is a Richmond non overdrive 5 speed. Rear gears were swapped to 2.56 for highway running. The engine is a 250 Chevy with flat top pistons, balanced lower end, offy intake. Compression is 9.5 to 1. The head has extensive work. Bolt in lumps are installed along with 1.94/ 1.6 valves. The head is also ported. Cam is a Clifford 270 hydraulic. This engine Dynoed at 285 HP with a 4 BBL and Clifford intake. The Exhaust consists of Hooker headers, dual 2.5" collectors merged together into a Magnaflow 3 chamber muffler, the tailpipe is 2.5". Since installation the car was driven to Carson City at the end of May without trouble. And up to this point has been driven 5500 miles. Checkout my website http://www.12bolt.com/ . There are parts and information on how to make your inline Chevy perform.

Chevy 292 test fire
Chevy 292 inline 6 , it's .30 over , mild Schneider cam , ported Brazilian 12 port head , 9 1/2 to 1 compression , over size valves , I made the custom intake ,the carbs are 1 3/4 SU side drafts , I also made the headers out of scrap stainless dairy tubing . It's been a project of mine for the last 6 1/2 years , there are still issue we have to work out but it's getting there , all the dress up parts for the motor are out at the chromer at this point in time , and this is going in my custom 59 Chevy station wagon that I'm building .
