How to Remove Transmission from an SRT-4
A few of us SRT-4 enthusiasts got together to make a how-to video on how to
remove a clutch from the Neon. If you're using the SRT-4 manual or a how-to
guide from one of the many car forums, you can reference this video if
you're unsure of step in the removal process. We're not professionals, just
car fanatics so please feel free to correct any errors. We hope this will
be useful. Good luck and post any questions you may have.
If you'd like a text version of the how to, you may access it via the
srtfourms. Thanks to jmihalchik for creating the "how to" that inspired
Hpno & Jaz Adventures! Changing the upper torque strut on a 2005 Dodge Neon SXT
This is my first auto repair video. I'm not a professional videographer nor
a mechanic. Under no circumstance am I saying I am a professional. We
usually do things ourselves to save money and because we know how to do
them, but when we don't we do see a professional mechanic. This video does
not replace in any way the advice of a professional mechanic. If you only
replace one strut or motor mount, you might experience more engine shaking,
so please replace all of them around the same time, if it's too expensive
do one by one but make sure they are replaced around the same time. I
purchased this motor mount from Advanced Auto Parts and it cost me $37.99
plus tax so around 41 bucks. I know at Auto Zone is the same price at
least in my area and you can find them at ebay or another store for
cheaper. If you are going to get it replaced by a professional, to save
money ask them if they can charge you for only labor and you buy the parts,
I have a mechanic that will charge me for the parts (cost price) as well so
it actually comes out cheaper for him to buy the part than for me to buy
the part, do what you must to save money but at the same time you get what
you pay for, not always its better to get the cheapest part.
2001 dodge neon transmission problem

and joints are sold as one unit" and transmission mount. any ideals? i hope
