The Dodge and Plymouth Neon were redesigned for the 2000 model year. The
Plymouth Neon was dropped after the 2001 model year, and the
high-performance Dodge SRT-4 model was added in the 2003 model year. Both
the Dodge Neon and SRT-4 were dropped after the 2005 model year.
Restraints/dummy kinematics — Dummy movement wasn't well controlled. As
the dummy moved into the airbag, it also moved toward the driver door,
which had bowed outward, and its head approached but didn't hit the window
sill. There was too much rearward movement of the steering column, and
during the impact the steering wheel broke off from the column.
Injury measures — Measures taken from the head, neck, and chest indicate
low risk of injuries to these body regions in a crash of this severity.
Forces on the left femur indicate that injuries to the upper leg would be
likely. Forces on both tibias indicate that injuries to lower legs would be

2003 Dodge Neon Top Speed
My 2003 Dodge Neon SXT 5 speed with a Magnaflow muffler. Believe me it
sounds nothing like a crappy ricer, it is just barely lound enough to even
be noticed, just a deep rumble (well the closest a 4 banger could ever be
to rumbling lol). First time car ever hit the speed limiter, and it wasn't
even me drivin it haha. But then I drove it and ended up gettin to 121 so I

Hpno & Jaz Adventures! Changing the top right motor mount on a 2005 Dodge Neon SXT
This is my first auto repair video. I'm not a professional videographer nor
a mechanic. Under no circumstance am I saying I am a professional. We
usually do things ourselves to save money and because we know how to do
them, but when we don't we do see a professional mechanic. This video does
not replace in any way the advice of a professional mechanic. You might
experience more car shaking after replacing a motor mount, specially if you
only replace one and you have other bad motor mounts. Mine were replaced
about 3 1/2 years ago by the dealer. They should not wear that quick, but I
drive my car a lot and I drive it hard so that's why I had to replace them
again. Plus when I bought my car it had already been hit apparently (my
mechanic said so) and the frame of the car in one side is pushed in which
might cause more vibration and more wear and tear. I purchased this motor
mount from Advanced Auto Parts and it cost me $37.99 plus tax so around 41
bucks. I know at Auto Zone is the same price at least in my area and you
can find them at ebay or another store for cheaper. If you are going to get
it replaced at a professional, I do advice for you to ask if you can buy
your own part. I know when I used to go to Tire Kingdom I would always buy
my part and just pay for labor because they double the prices on parts now
that I moved, I don't have the same luck. Some places will not accept that.
But if you know where they buy their parts which is usually an auto part
store near them, just buy it yourself. Get a quote and the parts you need
and then give it to them to use. Price might vary in your state. The other
motor mounts will be checked and replaced as well at a later time. If I do
a video of the replacement I will post it. I believe that one can learn
about cars and learn enough to do your own repairs. But nothing compares
with professional advice.
