http://www.autobytel.com/honda/accord/2013/?id=32972 The 2013 Honda Accord focuses on efficient packaging. That is something the new Accord does really well. This 2013 model gets smaller on the outside and bigger on the inside. There is more interior space for occupant comfort as well as better visibility all around. The 2013 Honda Accord has a base price of $21, 680. On the outside, the Accord received all new styling. The exterior is more aggressive, luxurious, and bolder. 2013 Honda Accord Sedan Test Drive & Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/honda/accord/2013/ The mid-sized sedan segment is by far the most competitive segment in the entire automotive industry. Practically every manufacturer has a vehicle targeting this segment. For years the Accord was at the top of the heap winning award after award, year after year. But the Accord quickly got stale and with the new Ford Fusion, Nissan Altima, and Toyota Camry redesigns; the Accord was losing ground quickly. Now we have a new measuring stick with the all new redesigned 2013 Honda Accord Sedan. The Accord is one of the safest bets in America today. The base price is $21,680; the car drives great, has a nice resale value, and offers wonderful reliability. Most enthusiasts and automotive journalist would cringe at the thought of having to test drive yet another family sedan. But the reality is that this is still the most popular segment of car in America today. The Camry and Accord combined sell almost a million cars per year. Honda has basically set the standard with the Accord for over 30 years. This nameplate has been around since the 1970's and is now in its 9th generation and the Accord keeps on getting better. What's unusual about the new 2013 Honda Accord is that it has actually gotten shorter while interior room has increased and the cargo room is larger, which is a great testament to Honda Engineers. Styling is dramatically improved with the nice shoulder lines and shorter overhangs. Basically the car looks more modern and up to date. But it is not just about styling with the new Accord Sedan. Under the hood is a brand new engine and CVT transmission. Not to be outdone by Mazda's SkyActiv engine technology, Honda has released their own line called Earth Dreams Technology. The new engine is very efficient and powerful. The motor is a 2.4 liter 4-cylinder that makes 185 horsepower and 181 lb-ft. of torque. The CVT transmission helps the Accord to get fuel economy ratings of 27 MPG in the city and 36 MPG on the highway. The Accord comes in several trim levels that include the: Base LX, Sport, EX, EX-L, and the top of the line Touring model. If you want to get a 4-cylinder engine, that comes standard on the 3 lower trims. When you move up to the more expensive trims the V-6 engine becomes optional/standard. Shoppers of mid-sized sedans are looking for rear legroom space. Thankfully the Accord has plenty of it including a lot of rear headroom too. The Accord's interior has been completely redesigned. You have an all new instrument panel, center stack, and gauges. Everything works really well. The speedometer looks like a high-tech Swiss watch, the steering wheel is nice and compact, and the controls are great. Another bonus is the fact that every 2013 Honda Accord comes with and 8-inch infotainment screen standard as well as a rear backup camera. The Accord also comes with Honda's new lane-watch safety system. See More Car Videos http://www.autobytel.com/car-videos/ Join Our Facebook Page http://www.facebook.com/autobytel

2013 Ford Fusion Test Drive & Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/ford/fusion/2013/?id=32972 The 2013 Ford Fusion gives you is a lot of car for the money. The mid-sized sedan segment is hotter than ever! It seems like a different manufacturer is releasing an updated and improved model every few months. The Koreans offer cars like the Kia Optima and Hyundai Sonata, Nissan has the all new Altima, and now Ford is ready to play catch-up with the all new 2013 Fusion. There are 3 different trim levels ranging in price from $21,700 - $32,200. For 2013 Ford is offering 3 different engine choices available with the Fusion. The base engine is a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder Duratec 16-valve engine that makes 175 horsepower and 175 lb-ft. of torque that manages 22 MPG in the city and 34 MPG on the highway. The 1.4 liter EcoBoost engine is most likely going to be the most popular engine. While power output may not be that great at 178 horsepower and 184 lb-ft. of torque, the fuel economy ratings of 25 MPG in the city and 37 MPG on the highway will be the selling point. The most powerful engine is the 2.0 liter 4-cylinder EcoBoost which makes 240 horsepower and 270 lb-ft. of torque with gas mileage ratings coming in at 22 MPG in the city and 33 MPG on the highway. The transmission of choice will be the 6-speed automatic, but there is a 6-speed manual option. There is also an AWD model available. As the mid-size segment heats up, there will be front runners that do everything well and especially excel in one particular area. The Honda Accord has great engine choices, the Optima/Sonata get excellent fuel economy, and the Passat has a well sorted interior and comfortable ride. The spot where the 2013 Ford Focus rules is in the styling department. The Fusion just looks so good while in motion or when standing still. The front end is clearly inspired by Aston Martin, the headlights and wheels are aggressive, the roofline is similar to that of the Audi A7, and the rear tail lights look like they come from Maserati. The interior is much more mundane than the outside and that's OK. The styling is German inspired with a touch of simplicity. The ergonomics are excellent and there are many technological gadgets integrated like the Ford MyTouch system. The 2013 Ford Fusion is a great looking car with a nice selection of engines and a well sorted interior. The base price is very affordable and the higher trim levels come packed with all the bells and whistles that give the Fusion a very premium feel. 86FEST Import Car Show Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ and Toyota AE-86 @ Fontana Auto Club Speedway
http://www.autobytel.com/scion/fr-s/2013/?id=32972 Autobytel's own FR-S fanatic T.J. Keon was recently invited out to Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA for the first ever 86FEST, a gathering and celebration of all things Toyobaru and pays homage to the original AE-86 with everything from a car show to on track activities. We were fortunate enough to catch up with the man who loves little red Hachis more than anyone else, Antonio Alvendia, from Cipher Garage and MotorMavens.com and is responsible for 86FEST. Scion Racing driver Ken Gushi was also on hand to talk about drifting as well as daily driving an FR-S after signing a few autographs and smoking a few sets of tires. Finally we were able to catch up with Speedhunter Larry Chen where the Drift Photo aficionado shared a story of a very special Hachi Roku with only 48 original kilometers that had been kept in a basement for the past 25 years he found on a recent trip to Belgium. 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport Test Drive & Crossover SUV Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/new-cars/hyundai/santa-fe/?id=32972 The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe is a brand new redesign that makes this the 3rd generation automobile. It's hard to believe that the Santa Fe came out back in 1998. Back then there were not many crossovers on the market yet. Now that practically every automobile manufacturer has a crossover, Hyundai is playing it smart. They have gotten rid of the Veracruz model and then Hyundai has created a long wheel base and a short wheel base Santa Fe. Prices start at $24,450. There are 2 different engine options available on the 2013 Santa Fe Sport. The first is a direct injected 2.4 liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 190 horsepower and 181 lb-ft. of torque. The second engine is a 2.0 liter turbocharged and gasoline direct injected motor that makes 264 horsepower and 269 lb-ft. of torque. The standard transmission is a 6-speed automatic. Fuel economy is 31 MPG combined for the turbo and 33 MPG combined for the naturally aspirated engine. On the inside the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport has a great 8-inch Navigation as an option. The panoramic sunroof is ultra cool and lets rear passengers enjoy the fresh air and sunlight. The Santa Fe Sport comes standard with many great features like cruise control, power windows and locks, Bluetooth, and steering wheel mounted audio controls to name a few. Safety wise the Santa Fe comes with 7 airbags, stability control, traction control, and anti-lock brakes. These items are all standard on the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. Many improvements have been made and maybe the most important is the reduction in weight. The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe weighs 266 lbs. less than the previous model. That weight reduction has a positive effect on fuel economy. The Santa Fe Sport can carry up to 5 people. The rear seat is a 40/20/40 split bench making for a versatile crossover SUV. You can order the Santa Fe in either FWD or AWD configurations. The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport is priced right alongside its competition. But with the Santa Fe you get more standard features for your money along with a great 10 year 100k mile warranty. 2014 Honda Accord Plug In Hybrid Review and Road Test
Check out my other videos! http://vid.io/xqoB Who is Alex? Find out here! http://vid.io/xqoF A few months ago I declared the 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid my favorite car. The question before us today is: does adding a larger batter and a plug make my favorite car even better? I take Honda's plug-in hybrid Accord out on the road to find out. If you're trying to decide between a Chevy Volt, Honda Accord Plug-In, Fusion Energy or a Prius Plug-in because you want to drive solo in the carpool lane, then check out this video and act fast as California is supposedly running out of stickers. 2013 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L Review, Walkaround, Exhaust, & Test Drive
Help us grow so we can bring you more videos! Like us on Facebook @ http://www.Facebook.com/2Redline Honda proves it can still build a class-leading vehicle with the release of their all-new 9th generation Accord. With its dizzying array of new tech features, generous standard equipment list, and improved fuel efficiency, it quickly puts the Accord back to the top 3 of the midsize family sedan class. Our few gripes remain with its lingering ever-conservative styling and a top trim touring model that looks too similar to an EX trim. 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid Review and Road Test
Check out my other videos! http://vid.io/xqoB Who is Alex? Find out here! http://vid.io/xqoF As of October, the most fuel efficient mid-sized sedan in America is the Honda Accord. Or so Honda says. After all, Ford has been trumpeting a matching 47 MPG combined from their Fusion. Who is right? And more importantly, can the Accord get Honda back into the hybrid game after having lost the first initial hybrid battles with their maligned Integrated Motor Assist system? Honda invited us to sample the 2014 Accord Hybrid as well as a smorgasbord of competitive products to find out. I have always been a fan of "elegant and restrained" styling which explains my love for the first generation Lexus LS. That describes the 2014 Accord to a tee. Like the regular Accord, the hybrid is devoid of sharp creases, dramatic swooshes, edgy grilles or anything controversial. This is a slightly different take than the Accord Plug-in which swaps the standard Accord bumper for a bumper with a slightly awkward gaping maw. In fact, the only thing to indicate that something green this way someday are some grille inserts and LED headlamps on the top-level Touring model. Being the drivetrain geek that I am, what's under the hood of the Accord hybrid is more exciting than the Corvette Stingray. Seriously. Why? Because this car doesn't have a transmission in the traditional sense. Say what? Let's start at the beginning. Things start out with the same 2.0L four-cylinder engine used in the Accord plug-in. The small engine is 10% more efficient than Honda's "normal" 2.0L engine thanks to a modified Atkinson cycle, an electric water pump, cooled Exhaust gas return system, and electric valve timing with a variable cam profile. The engine produces 141 horsepower on its own at 6,200 RPM and, thanks to the fancy valvetrain, 122 lb-ft from 3,500-6,000 RPM. The engine is connected directly to a motor/generator that is capable of generating approximately 141 horsepower. (Honda won't release specific details on certain drivetrain internals so that's an educated guess.) Next we have a 166 horsepower, 226 lb-ft motor that is connected to the front wheels via a fixed gear ratio. Under 44 miles per hour, this is all you need to know about the system. The 166 horsepower motor powers the car alone, drawing power from either a 1.3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, or the first motor/generator. Over 44 miles per hour, the system chooses one of two mods depending on what is most efficient at the time. The system can engage a clutch pack to directly connect the two motor/generator units together allowing engine power to flow directly to the wheels via that fixed gear ratio. Pay careful attention to that. I said fixed gear ratio. When the Accord Hybrid engages the clutch to allow the engine to power the wheels directly (mechanically), power is flowing via a single fixed ratio gear set. The fixed gear improves efficiency at highway speeds, reduces weight vs a multi-speed unit and is the reason the system must operate in serial hybrid mode below 44 mph. There is another side effect at play here as well: below 44 MPH, the system's maximum power output is 166 horsepower. The 196 combined ponies don't start prancing until that clutch engages. So why does Honda call it an eCVT? Because that fits on a sales sheet bullet point and the full explanation doesn't. Also, a serial hybrid can be thought of as a CVT because there is an infinite and non-linear relationship between the engine input and the motor output in the transaxle.
