Also feel free to Call anytime Nathan Wratislaw 406 544 6919 I got this info from Wikipedia The Eighty-Eight's front and rear were restyled for 1996 to bear more resemblance to the flagship Aurora. In the 1996 model year, GM renamed the model from Eighty Eight Royale to three models -- Eighty Eight, LSS (A "Luxury Sports Sedan" targeted to male European car buyers, available with a supercharged V6 and a floor mounted gear shifter). It is important to note, however, early LSS models (1995) were rarely equipped with the 3800 Supercharged engine. The LSS was an originally a trim level package on the 88 starting in 1992. In 1996 the LSS received Aurora-inspired seats. 1996 was the final year that the original-style rocket (in black and silver) appeared on a hood emblem. 1997 would welcome the new Oldsmobile logo. After the demise of the Ninety-Eight in 1996, Oldsmobile created the Regency for 1997-1998, which used the same front fenders and chrome grille as the Ninety-Eight sedan but kept the standard Eighty-Eight body. The Regency featured a long list of standard features including traction control, leather upholstery, dual 8-way power seats with a driver's side memory function, a dual-zone automatic climate control system, and an electronic level control for the rear suspension. A standard driver's side Electrochromic outside mirror was standard on the Regency, a novel feature for it's time. The interior day/night auto-dimming mirror was linked to the outside mirror and dimmed both with the same intensity at the same time. Some of these options, like the 2-driver memory feature, were not available on the Eighty-Eight Royale or LSS. All four vehicles used the same 110.8 in (2,810 mm) wheelbase and shared an updated version of the H-body. The suspension tuning, interior appointments, and certain exterior trim was used to differentiate the three models.

Information about Oldsmobile V8 engines
In this video I talk about the "late" Oldsmobile V8 and offer tips on how to identify them by number. "Late" in this instance means 1964-1990. Early('49-64) Olds engines are an entirely different block, etc. Sometimes my info gets a bit twisted when it stays inside my head for a while, so a correction is that '77-80 heads are 3A, not 4A. 4A heads are 403 pieces. Also, to clarify and avoid confusion, this...7 A is a 350 head, this...7A is a later 307 head. You can also tell the difference easily by the ports. Late 307 and 260 ports are half the size of any other versions. Trivia: The Olds 403 was used in 1977-79 Pontiac Trans-Am's, but not all of them. Of note...the engine in the video is painted the incorrect shade of gold, which appears to be the Krylon generic gold. The proper shade is slightly darker and less "glitzy"

1970 Oldsmobile Cruiser vs 2012 Ferrari FF - Generation Gap: Family Cruisers
Cast your vote here: http://www.hagerty.com/Articles-Videos/Articles/2014/11/10/Gen-Gap-Family-C ruisers In the final episode of season one of Generation Gap, Matt and Davin compare family cruisers. With its six-figure price tag and top speed of 208 mph, you¹re unlikely to see Matt¹s selection, a 2012 Ferrari FF, waiting to pick up the kids at school. Its part-time AWD system is powered by a direct-injection, 6.3-liter V-12 that blasts out 651 hp. Davin¹s choice, a 1970 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser, may seem unassuming at first, but its Edelbrock/Lingenfelter Edition E-Force supercharged LS3 makes just as much horsepower as the Ferrari. It also comes equipped with Ridetech Air-Ride suspension and Wilwood disc brakes. Generation Gap appears every other Tuesday on the Motor Trend youtube channel. http://www.youtube.com/motortrend Subscribe now to make sure you're in on all the action! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsAegdhiYLEoaFGuJFVrqFQ?sub_confirmation=1 Facebook - http://facebook.com/motortrendmag Twitter - http://twitter.com/motortrend Google+ - https://plus.google.com/+motortrend/posts Website - http://www.motortrend.com

Oldsmobile Eighty Eight Royale 88 Sedan 3.8L 3800 V6 56,000 Original Miles LSS Cutlass Video http://www.1ownercarguy.com Here is a very nice Olds 88 Royale that is a 1 Owner and only has 56K original miles on it. This car is as clean as they come. It has the 3.8L which is one of my favorite drive trains. They are super reliabe, get great MPG, and easy to work on and find parts. This car runs, drives, and shifts great. The exterior looks great and the paint has a very nice shine to it. The interior is loaded with leather and power everything. This would prove to be the last Eighty Eight or 88 model from Oldsmobile (along with its performance LSS and Regency models) before being discontinued in 1999 with the 2001 Aurora V6 as a replacement. The 3.8 L Buick V6 was still the only engine, but output increased to 170 hp (130 kW) and 220 lb·ft (300 N·m) of torque. The Eighty-Eight's front and rear were restyled for 1996 to bear more resemblance to the flagship Aurora. 1997 would welcome the new Oldsmobile logo on all Eighty-Eight trims except the Regency. After the demise of the Ninety-Eight in 1996, Oldsmobile added the Regency to the 1997 and 1998 lineups, which used the same front fenders and chrome grille as the Ninety-Eight sedan but kept the standard Eighty-Eight body. The Regency featured a long list of standard features including traction control, leather upholstery, dual 6-way power seats with power lumbar and a driver's side memory function, a dual-zone automatic climate control system, and an electronic level control for the rear suspension. A driver's side electrochromic outside mirror was also standard on the Regency, a feature that even Cadillac didn't offer as standard equipment.
