Finally, the much rain-delayed Gasser Nationals and U.M.T..R. (United Manual Transmission Racers) meet - Thompson Raceway, Thompson, OH 10/22/2011. During a couple of "track drying" episodes, I stepped over to check out the little kids zipping around Thompson's Go-Kart track too. A little cold, and parking and pits a little soggy, ...but still nothing like it.

60's Drag Racing
Gassers (I was really into the Willys coupes!), Early Funny Cars, some Stockers, Rails, and more, taken when I was just a kid. Most are from the NHRA Nationals in Indy, some from Great Lakes Dragway, and from US 131 in Martin, Michigan. The Hemi Under Glass is a hand-out, not an original photo.
