1965 Nova SS test drive

1965 Nova SS test drive and inspection. This Nova is a mild restomod that was done extremely well. It still has its original 283ci block but now sports a posi rear, front disc brakes, and a few other odds and ends. The body and interior on this car are in amazing shape and this car is just a blast to drive. http://www.ClassicCarBuyingSecrets.com Click now for an instant download on "How to Avoid the 7 Deadliest Mistakes of Buying a Classic Car Online"! 1965 Chevrolet Nova SS History The Chevrolet Chevy II/Nova is a compact automobile manufactured by the Chevrolet division of General Motors produced in five generations for the 1962 through 1979, and 1985 through 1988 model years. Nova was the top model in the Chevy II lineup through 1968. The Chevy II nameplate was dropped, Nova becoming the nameplate for the 1969 through 1979 models. The Chevy II was one of the fastest new-car development programs in GM history. Just 18 months after the designers got the green light, the first production Chevy II rolled off the Willow Run, Michigan, assembly line in August 1961. The 1965 Chevrolet Chevy II and Nova were updated with cleaner front-end styling. The Nova Super Sport came as a Sport Coupe only, and its production dipped to just 9,100 cars. VIN 117375N203462 True SS "117" Car This car was originally from California. In 1989 it was purchased by a man from Indiana. He brought it home, stripped it down to bare metal, took it off the frame, and began the rotisserie restoration. The build was completed about 12 years ago. The car sat in a heated garage for 2 years and was only driven on the nicest days. The car was then purchased in May of 2003 by the most recent owner. He also stored the car in a heated garage and only drove it on the nicest days. The car is very quick and is very fun to drive. Super Sleeper 1972 Nova - /BIG MUSCLE
Wanna race? If so you may want to reconsider. You see this is Dru Diesner's 1972 Chevrolet Nova and it's anything but stock. From a looks perspective it's nothing special, in fact most people wouldn't put up $500 for this thing. Look a little deeper though and OH MOMMA! You see under its faded green paint lurks a twin supercharged LS2 that makes 1,160 hp... at the rear wheels. It epitomizes the term "sleeper", and is lethal to just about every other road going vehicle it comes in contact with. Big Muscle recently visited Northern Chicago to get a sample of this beast, and holy crap was it one of the best automotive experiences we've ever had.

1000 HP 1963 Chevy Nova SS - A Day At The Track V8TV
http://www.v8tvshow.com - Joe Kosiba is one of those guys who likes to keep his stuff in order. His house and truck are always spotless, and his garage is so clean it could double as a showroom. We've often found that shops that are too clean never see any work, but Joe also knows how to get things done. Take his '63 Nova, for example. He's owned it for a long time, and it has gone through several transformations over the years, resulting in the car you see in this video. Today it's an arrow-straight street / strip terror that makes around 1000 horsepower from a small block sucking Nitrous Oxide. In this video, Joe takes the car to the World Street Challenge to run in the Wild Street class where you have to drive the car 30 miles, then run back-to-back dragstrip passes to qualify. Joe's Nova ended up winning the class with low 9-second quarter mile passes at around 150 miles per hour. If you ask Joe, it's just good clean fun. You can also see this car featured in the May, 2009, Car Craft Magazine.

Elderbrock Total Power Pack, lifters, head springs, cam, push rods, intake and carborator. the headers did'nt fit. so i used original mcdonalds manafolds, cherry bombs, and stainless steel pipes, police cruiser 78 caprice exhuast bend fits most gm cars lol. the gauges are on the engine's air filter. oil lines and fire walls cause oil loss. temp is a secondary ground when primary is shorted . amps shorts out thru dash and fire wall. put them on the engine and they will last for years and you dont have to go back n forth to read the gauges. original 3 on the tree manual transmition fresh clutches speacial order, yes thats a 67 chrome radiator. sweet.
