1965 Chevrolet Nova SS
The Chevrolet Chevy II/Nova is a compact automobile manufactured by the
Chevrolet division of General Motors produced in five generations for the
1962 through 1979, and 1985 through 1988 model years. Nova was the top
model in the Chevy II lineup through 1968. The Chevy II nameplate was
dropped, Nova becoming the nameplate for the 1969 through 1979 models.
The Chevy II was one of the fastest new-car development programs in GM
history. Just 18 months after the designers got the green light, the first

The 1965 Chevrolet Chevy II and Nova were updated with cleaner front-end
styling. The Nova Super Sport came as a Sport Coupe only, and its
production dipped to just 9,100 cars.
True SS "117" Car
This car was originally from California. In 1989 it was purchased by a man
from Indiana. He brought it home, stripped it down to bare metal, took it
off the frame, and began the rotisserie restoration. The build was
completed about 12 years ago. The car sat in a heated garage for 2 years
and was only driven on the nicest days. The car was then purchased in May
of 2003 by the most recent owner. He also stored the car in a heated garage
and only drove it on the nicest days. The car is very quick and is very fun
