This famous Ford TD Cortina has been off the road since the late 90's
CV Performance together with GD Racecars has brought it alive again !
Officially on the road 8th November 2012 and this video documents this fact.
Nothing was going to stop the man from taking it home, not even the hail storm warning !

FastTrack Racing 6 Lap Drive in a V8 Race Car at Eastern Creek Raceway
On the 14th of January 2012, I got to drive 6 laps in a V8 Race Car at Eastern Creek Raceway. If anyone has thought about doing it, I highly recommend it. WOG-007 - 1980's - CV Performance
The Cortina back in the day , mid 80's at Oran park raceway.
At the time Sydney did not have a 400 meter drag strip so everyone had to race on this short 300 meter track.
Plenty of VHT was need on the tyres to help with traction !
