Rental Porsche 911 GT3 RS crashes at the Ring: Auto Insurance Nightmare:
A horrible piece of footage that shows just how easy it is to make a mistake at the Nurburgring Nordschleife. Here the driver of a rental Porsche 911 GT3RS gets to discover how big his liability really is... it's €75,000. One wheel in the grass and it's all over so quickly
Overtaking at the Nürburgring: Who drafts the drafter?
Here's a short clip from my first lap of the day at the Destination
Nurburgring trackday... behind me is a tasty Megane R26.R and in front of
me is a Scirocco 2.0 TFSI. Both have more power, but I don't want to finish
Fun wet lap of the Nurburgring Nordschleife in my RX-8

on a very slippery lap of the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Ralphy's not a
great passenger, but he was very brave and didn't jump out at
Breidscheid... ;) A full write-up, photos, and another video from the day
Idiot drives to Nürburgring in the snow with his E36 BMW 328i
The idiot is me. ;) Read more here:
People told me I was an idiot for wanting to drive my track car in the
snow. Here I've fitted the original 15" alloys with 195/60-15 Kleber
Kristalp mud and snow tyres. 1000ft up via hairpins and forest roads, with
a massive grin on my face.
Daytona High Speed Crash - Porsche GT3
A Porsche GT3 crashes at Daytona International Speedway following a rear
right tire blowout at 150+ MPH coming out of NASCAR Turn #4. Car
immediately veered out of control and crashed into inside wall with massive
damage. The Sparco racing seats, Schroth harnesses, Hans device and helmet
contributed to my walking away with minor injuries. Incident occurred at
PBOC HPDE October 2012.
Here's what happened:
Coming out of NASCAR turn #4 (the same turn that that took Dale Earnhardt's
life), I was accelerating past 150 MPH when I felt a shudder in the rear of
the car followed by an immediate strong bumping / vibration throughout the
car. While I immediately lifted from the accelerator, the blowout of my
right rear tire (Hoosier R6's) caused the car to immediately veer to the
left (just after passing one car and just prior to reaching a second car).
As the car headed towards the inside wall, it was in an out of control
spin. After making one complete spin, the car crashed into the inside wall
on the front left corner of the car and then ricocheted back against the
wall on the rear left corner of the car -- spinning around a couple more
times before coming to a stop.
Super car driver idiots [NO pics, only videos]
I got bored with all the "super car crashes"-videos here on YouTube that
only contained PICTURES, CRAPPY MUSIC or/and clips of pure racing cars on
official racing events.
This compilation DOES NOT include pure racing cars on official racing
events - only real life FAILures on the STREETS, made by people with more
money than driving skills...
(Though, even the best car drivers can crash too of course.)
Notice 1: The "Dodge Ram" may not be a super car, but still it's a SRT10
with the 8.3L Viper V10 which produces 510hp. Pretty super for a pick up,
don't you think? It has more power than several of the cars in this video.
The intention with this video was to show that skills doesn't come with
Notice 2: Tire is the preferred spelling in the U.S. and Canada. Tyre is
preferred in most varieties of English outside North America. And I'm from
Sweden. So please think outside your box (country), you who claims "tyre"
is incorrect spelling.
BMW M3 E46 Roll-over crash in Nürburgring VLN race
More action here: http://goo.gl/SW5sCC
I pull the trusty pocketcam out just as the first few drops of rain fall on
Wehrseifen. An E46 driver loses control on the entry to the corner, and
ends up rolling all the way around. Race was the VLN #2 of 2012 and this
was only the second lap of a four-hour event!
