My 2006 Acura RSX Type-S

Here's a video of my new RSX. I love it. It's been a while since I filmed this and I've fallen in love with this car. I can throw it around and not worry about a thing. It's like a big go cart.

2006 Acura RSX Type S review - 10 grand (ish) never turned so many heads
2006 Acura RSX Type S - 10 grand (ish) never turned so many heads Email me anytime at JoeLovesHawaii@gmail.com follow me on Twitter: @papajoetunney This month we're plugging a funny video about the Infiniti IPL and the fact that our salesman was completely misinformed about why it is called the IPL, discovering only in the end that he has completely embarrassed himself. Take a peek if you have an extra couple of minutes. http://youtu.be/PJE1Id3n61o Hi, this is Joe Tunney at Infiniti of Kirkland bringing to you a comprehensive catalogue of hundreds of great vehicles from throughout the automobile industry. Although we specialize in Acura, BMW, Lexus, Mercedes, sports cars, SUV's and of course our beloved Infiniti product line, we also like to carry and review exotic cars from time to time like Ferrari, Dodge Viper, turbocharged all-wheel-drive cars like Mitsubishi Evo and Subaru WRX, as well as affordable vehicles that fit into every budget. For 2014 we are going to make a point of reviewing everything we carry, demonstrating for you the interior and exterior features and condition, the wheels and tires, trunk space, as well as an overview of power, technology, economy and driving characteristics to give you factual information as well as information unique to this particular vehicle so that you can enjoy a more intelligent shopping experience without ever having to step onto the lot. A little about me. I have been the manager at Infiniti of Kirkland since 2004 and prior to that I ran a high end car boutique in neighboring Bellevue, Washington. For my career I have sold over 10,000 cars so I hope to bring you far more insight than you might ever know to even ask. I show you in some videos how to see if a car has been in an accident, how to make a great buy on a car with a bad Carfax, or why I wouldn't personally buy a car even if it has favorable reviews. Every once in a while I'll even have a little fun to keep the videos fresh but I want to make certain you know that you can always email me at joet@infinitiofkirkland.com if you ever have any questions or feel I have made a mistake or used poor judgment or poor taste. I am truly thankful for the hundreds of thousands of views and more importantly, perhaps much more importantly, I am honored to have been viewed in over 200 countries around the world. We all are ambassadors for the things we believe in regardless of where we were born and from my little corner of the world here outside of Seattle, Washington I want to express my sincere gratitude for you having invited me into your home, your place of work, or for simply taking a minute of your valuable time to listen to what I have to say. Maybe we will never meet face to face, but I am forever in your debt for giving me the opportunity to share with you the things I have learned. 2006 Acura RSX review. 2006 Acura RSX reviews. 2006 Acura RSX reviews. 2006 Acura RSX Type S review. 2006 Acura RSX Type S specs. 2006 Acura RSX Type S engine. 2006 Acura RSX Type S....SOLD
THIS CAR HAS BEEN SOLD TO FULLERTON AUTO SQUARE. INQUIRE WITH THEM IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN STILL BUYING THIS CAR. CAR IS FOR SALE AGAIN: JAN. 15, 2015: CURRENTLY HAS 31,200 MILES. I LIVE IN LOS ANGELES COUNTY. $16K IS MY ASKING PRICE. UPDATE 12/28/14: It has been lowered with Skunk2 Pro C coilovers and I got new Falken Ziex 950 tires all the way around. UPDATE 11/20/14: Sorry to all who asked but I will be keeping my car after all. I was all set to start contacting all the viewers who expressed interest in buying my car because I was planning on buying a 2000 Integra GSR with only 35K miles for only $11,500. BUT UNFORTUNATELY the seller sold this car. FUNNY THING IS I WOULD HAVE PAID MORE FOR IT. The seller hinted about a straight up trade but I felt my RSX-S: 6 years newer; lower odometer miles (30,300), and more power was worth more. Anyway, to solidify my my decision I've just paid a grip by ordering new Skunk2 Pro-C coilovers. Again sorry, close but no cigar. Had the seller contacted me or worked something out with me, I would have paid more and sold my car. UPDATE 10/24/14: I WILL BE SELLING THIS CAR IN THE NEAR FUTURE. LOOK AT MY COMMENT POSTED FOR REASONS WHY. CAR HAS 30,100 MILES NOW. CURRENTLY WITH ONLY 27,100 MILES ON THE ODOMETER AND ONLY ONE PREVIOUS OWNER. I believe my RSX Type S is pretty much one of a kind and rare to come across nowadays. Usually if one tries to find one with low miles, they usually have 55k-100+k. So I know my car is a time capsule gem. When I bought my beloved Type S, it was totally bone stock with 21K miles in October 21, 2012. Since then, I haven't changed much besides the following modifications: AEM CAI; DC Sports catback Exhaust; Drag DR-23 wheels; certain tasteful cosmetic changes. I DON'T RACE THIS CAR OR EVER WILL. And I don't try doing stupid, pointless burnouts or abuse this car. I never understood if someone loves their car, why they would abuse the shit out of it. (What comes to mind is the video clip of the idiot redlining the hell out of his Hyundai Genesis coupe while throwing his car around doing mindless, constant burnouts, trying to impress his friends. But instead blows out his motor leaving a trail of oil and engine/tranny components on the strip mall's parking lot. I hope his insurance company told him, "We aren't paying you shit!") Anyway, I have the mentality of a 1970's lowrider owner. Beautifying my car with tasteful upgrades both mechanically and the styling, and having fun driving without being stupid or reckless towards the car or other motorists. A car enthusiast can have fun without driving like a total inconsiderate douche on the road. I love how this car turns on a rail and the moderate power it has. Next modifications: Skunk 2 coilovers; DC Sports header; 7" touch screen stereo. And that's pretty much it for the near future. AGAIN: I don't feel the need to race anyone in the street. I don't have mental deficiencies or "shrimp dick syndrome" like so many douchebags on the road have nowadays. STAY SAFE, BE COURTEOUS ON THE ROAD: WE ALL HAVE THE RIGHT TO SAFE TRAVEL ON IT; AND HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY THE VIDEO. Take care of yourselves.
