1967 Pontiac GTO convertible, Hurst edition

This is a really nice example...red (what other color for a convertible) with nice white interior. Everything looks to be in perfect shape. Note the "cheese grater" tailights, similar to those on my 88 Mustang. This is the Hurst edition, with detents on the right side that take the automatic transmission through the 3 forward gears.

1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible 428 Four Barrel Muscle Car - Start-up and Walkaround
I thought you'd like a look at this nicely restored 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible. It's looking really slick with that gold exterior and black top. Under the hood, they've installed a 428 Pontiac V8 with a 4 BBL carb. All the power is running through a 3 spd automatic with a His and Hers shifter. It's riding on a nice set of PMD(Pontiac Motor Division) Rally wheels and the interior looks nearly new. This is one sharp looking car all the way around. As you can hear in the clip, it also sounds pretty mean with that 428 pumping through dual Exhaust. I hope you find it interesting....thanks for watching! 1965 Pontiac GTO Tri-Power Classic Muscle Car for Sale in MI Vanguard Motor Sales
http://www.ClassicCarBuyingSecrets.com Click now for an instant download on "How to Avoid the 7 Deadliest Mistakes of Buying a Classic Car Online"! 1965 Pontiac GTO History The Pontiac GTO is an American automobile built by Pontiac Division of General Motors from 1964 to 1974. It was a muscle car classic of the 1960s and 1970s. In early 1963, General Motors' management issued a ban on involvement in auto racing. At the time, Pontiac's advertising and marketing approach was heavily based on performance, and racing was an important component of that strategy. With GM's ban on factory-sponsored racing, Pontiac's young and visionary management turned its attention to emphasizing street performance. The GTO was basically a violation of GM policy, but since the GTO was an option package and not standard equipment, it fell into a loophole in the policy. The GTO was restyled for the 1965 model year. It had Pontiac's characteristic vertically stacked quad headlights. The restyled GTO had a new simulated hood scoop. Another cosmetic change was the black "egg-crate" grille. VIN 237375P337784 The previous owner of this black beauty owned the car since the early 1980's. She bought it out of Ohio. It has had a complete frame off restoration.
