Good ol boys
This is what my friend Gary Dick and I came up with after one summer day of filming in Cazenovia NY and surrounding areas. Being Dukes of Hazzard fans, we wanted to try filming some driving footage. Gary has since started building a General Lee (which can be seen in the photos of MySpace, find me as "CNY DJ Flash"). The car is still waiting for him to finish when he returns from Iraq. Well add more then.

This was probably the NUTTIEST car we encountered at the Pikes Peak Air Strip Attack - this 1170hp 101mm turbo equipped Cadillac CTS-V was turning heads everywhere it went. Hop into the passenger seat as we race down the 1/2 mile raceway at over 180 mph!





Fabricating Exhaust Parts -EricTheCarGuy
Fabricating Exhaust parts is not something that you will always need to do but when you do need to, it's good to have the right tools and know how. In this video I fabricate the 'A' pipe on my 1993 Acura Vigor. The OE part is no longer available and if it was it would be VERY expensive. I could not find the part in the aftermarket either. That meant that I had to make my own pipe. Through a combination of cutting, grinding, heating, and welding, I was able to make it happen. It may not be pretty, but at least it's quiet. With a little more practice with my welder I think I'll have this. No matter what, I hope the information in this video can help you if you're confronted with a similar situation. I'm playing with the camera again, too bad I didn't take to cooler out of the bed lol you'll figure it out. I made an aluminum plate to bolt the camera to the trailer hitch and pointed it towards the leaf spring to see whats going on. I did light accel and cruising some medium accel and some wide open and a lift and back wide open accel. I will be filming this angle a few times at the drag strip tomorrow 05-30-09, to really catch the springs twisting up with out any wheel spin.
