Turbo 5.3 3rd gen trans am vs intake/ longtube/ tune 06 GTO
Me and my brother in his GTO screwing around on the highway. We both started in 3rd gear at around 65 mph. Tires started burning when I hit Boost so I had to lift and shift into 4th, then get back on the gas. Just wanted a baseline run against the GTO, since it has gone 12.4 @ 114 mph at the strip.
1986 third gen Trans Am turbocharged 5.3 LM7 LSx runs
Couple WOT runs in my 1986 trans. Setup is a 2005 5.3 stock bottom end,
317 heads, LS6 cam and valvesprings, LS6 intake manifold, and custom fabbed
turbo setup with a turbonetics 76mm ball bearing turebo. Currently
running 5 PSI but engine will take 12-14 PSI. Car has a T56 tranny with a
textralia clutch as well.
H/C/I 6.0 91 firebird vs supercharged mustang mach 1
Firebird has a 6.0 LQ4 truck motor with PRC LS6 heads, tick SNS stage 3
cam, and FAST 92/92 combo. Makes 440 rwhp.
Mach 1 has a procharger at 6 PSI I believe and makes 440ish rwhp as well.
Mach 1 lifts half way into 4th gear in 2nd race due to having an issue.

My son has been looking for a car for a while now. He wanted something
that he could fix up and keep for years. His dream car was a third
generation trans am and that's exactly what we found. It's going to be a
bit of a project, but that's what we wanted anyway. We plan to restore and
modify the car and film videos of the progress along the way. The car is a
1987 Pontiac Trans Am with the LG9 5.0 TPI V8. The previous owner already
added headers, a cold air induction setup, aftermarket distributor and
coil, 2500 stall converter, TCI servos in the tranny, drag shocks, subframe
connectors, boxed control arms, and more. Overall, we think it's a great
