Turbo 5.3 3rd gen trans am vs intake/ longtube/ tune 06 GTO
Me and my brother in his GTO screwing around on the highway. We both started in 3rd gear at around 65 mph. Tires started burning when I hit Boost so I had to lift and shift into 4th, then get back on the gas. Just wanted a baseline run against the GTO, since it has gone 12.4 @ 114 mph at the strip.
My Sons First Project Car - 1987 Pontiac Trans Am
I've been looking for a car for my son for a while now. He wanted something that he could fix up and keep for years. His dream car was a third generation trans am and that's exactly what we found. It's going to be a bit of a project, but that's what we wanted anyway. We plan to restore and modify the car and film videos of the progress along the way. The car is a 1987 Pontiac Trans Am with the LG9 5.0 TPI V8. The previous owner already added headers, a cold air induction setup, aftermarket distributor and coil, 2500 stall converter, TCI servos in the tranny, drag shocks, subframe connectors, boxed control arms, and more.
