1972 Buick LeSabre Convertible Gold SumterFG040713
Now this is a FULL sized car! Plenty of room for a cruise! Hard to believe that all this luxury was in the lowest priced series Buick! Competition within GM was pretty great...the pitch could easily be made that for the cost of a Pontiac, you could move up to a Buick...which made the folks at Buick happy...and at Pontiac, sad!

Buick - History Documentary (1995)
This video is a wonderfully-done documentary, written and produced by Michael Rose, on the history of Buick as presented in 1995 from the History Channel's archive. Here is Michael's description of the video verbatim: "No one would have believed that the tinkering of a plumber would turn into the foundation of the world's largest corporation. But it did. David Dunbar Buick invented a process to adhere porcelain to tubs and other bathroom fixtures. But the Scottish immigrant dreamed of making a mark out of the bathroom, and set to work building a car. By 1900, he enlisted the aid of another inventor, Walter Marr, and they built their first vehicle. Their invention attracted the attention of one of Michigan's wealthiest men, William Crapo Durant, the president of the world's largest buggy-building business. As soon as he drove one of Buick's early creations, Durant realized that the days of the horse and buggy were over. He teamed up with Buick, and the two went on to make history. By the thirties, Buicks were regarded as some of the finest cars ever made. From the first Buicks through the birth of General Motors and into history, this is the compelling story of the partnership that eventually became the basis for the largest company in the world."

1987 Buick Grand National (Regal T-Type Turbo) Start Up, Exhaust, and In Depth Review
**I made an editing error at the beginning. Thanks a bunch to Streetside Classics of Charlotte, NC for allowing me to film this video! Hello and welcome to Saabkyle04! YouTube's largest collection of automotive variety! In today's video, we will take an up close and personal in depth look at the understated muscle car of the late 80s, the Buick Grand National, this one specifically the Regal T-Type. The GN and the T-Type are identical except for badging and interior trim. It wasn't until you stepped it on up to the GNX did you get the truly different package (which I will explain in the video). The GN is arguably the most menacing looking buick of all time with it's black monochrome paint scheme and turbo charged 3.8 V6 pumping out amazing performance numbers for the time period, even today! A unique experience to be able to check out one of these beasts. During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and Exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle. FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHANNEL SEE BELOW: In this channel you will find in depth reviews/tour of automobiles from all over the world, presented in a more detailed fashion than ever before. Basically, this gives the viewer the chance to view the most detailed 1st person look you can get without going to an actual dealer yourself! Every video is consistent in the way I present so viewers know what to expect in my presentations. I treat every vehicle with the same respect whether a 1960 Chevrolet Impala SS or the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador. I film all types of vehicles from past, present, and future while broadening the knowledge of the automotive enthusiast. You will see everything from vintage, brand new, exotic, mainstream, old, etc. I am very proud of this channel and have built it up from amateur videos years ago to what you see today. I wanted to share my love for the automotive world with the rest of the world. Be sure to explore the massive video variety, have fun and enjoy The Driver's Seat of YouTube! 1972 Buick Centurion 455; walk around, short acceleration
Bought the car in "yard condition". Now it´s done. Body, chrome, paint, interior, everything is new. Engine: ported heads, hooker long tubes, performer intake, modified 800 cfm Q-jet, carb re-jetted, ign. mods. idles very fine as you can see and has lots of power.

1973 Buick Centurion Convertible Maroon
Centurion is one of the lesser known names in Buick history, around from 71 to 73. It replaced the Wildcat Custom. This one is in perfect condition! Too bad the hood wasn't up to inspect the engine compartment. Looks like a very cabable, powerful family cruiser.

Buick - 1985 Buick Grand National
Here's another great video from the History Channel's archive on the 1985 Buick Regal turbocharged Grand National. Per the History Channel's exact video description: "A high-horsepower, attention-grabbing celebration of speed, the 1985 Grand National represents Buick's return to muscle-car roots. Now, two teams of veteran mechanics try to extract everything they can from the Grand National's made-for-speed equipment (including turbo engines, fuel injectors, and racing transmissions) to transform the car into a big, mean racing machine The premise is simple: FULL THROTTLE selects two teams who are each given the same model of classic car in a similar state of disrepair. They're supplied with a garage, tools, and parts, and after 20 hours of repair time, they battle it out in an old-fashioned drag-race on a certified track. The winner keeps both cars. The loser keeps nothing. They're fast, they're flashy, they reignited America's love of muscle cars-and finally, the 1985 BUICK GRAND NATIONAL returns with a vengeance on the track."
