This is one segment from the restored video player “ Kawasaki Good Times Theatre”. The Good Times Theatre video players were used at Kawasaki dealerships in the 1970’s for customer viewing on the showrooms.
This restored video features great Kawasaki moments from the mid to late 1970’s. Audio quality on the restored video is fair, but clearly understandable. This is a great piece of Motorcycle History. Hope you enjoy it.
KZ 1000 STRAIGHT PIPES **LOUD** Kawasaki
1977 Kawasaki KZ1000. Sounds good if your computer speakers put out bass! Bought this bike 5 years ago, rode it a few times and it sat for years. After being under a tarp for years and even getting rained on from ripped tarps, this bike was going to be sold. After taking pics to sell it, I fell in love with it. I couldn't sell it, so ended up working on it and going through the bike. Wheel bearings checked/repacked, new tires, new chain, new steering stem bearings, new swing arm bearings, valve clearance checked, timing chain adjusted, spark timing adjusted, creamed gas tank, cleaned out carbs, new throttle cables, clutch cable, tach cable, battery, grips, etc. And yeah, it looks like a rat bike, but that's what I'm going for. Maybe new rear shocks and a steering stabilizer in the future.
