1978 SUPER BANDIT Stage 2 Trans Am 500 hp 468 built by Southern Classic Trans Ams
Our 2nd Super Bandit Stage shown in this video was sold but our 3rd Super

Ams. Our 3rd Super Bandit Stage 2 also has the hand built Dyno tuned 468 stroker with cold
air induction but with improvements such as a camshaft upgrade to a Comp
Cam .520/.540 roller, taller Ferrea valves to match the cam and the carb
modified to a 850 cfm Q Jet for increased hp/tq. A similar Butler built
engine has 500 hp and 550 tq on their engine Dyno. The front and rear bumper
covers are upgraded to the new fiberglass type. The paint is base/clear
with all of the decals under 3 coats of clear. Top coat of clear was wet
sanded and buffed for that glass smooth shine! Other standard items include
a rebuilt 4 speed Borg Warner ST10 manual trans, 3.42 posi rear, converted
to factory 1979 type 4 wheel disc brakes with drilled/slotted rotors and
ceramic brake pads, Year One 17" snowflake wheels, upgraded instrumentation
which includes 8k tachometer and 160 speedometer, upgraded AC system and
gold Y 88 T tops. The black and gold SE look is present on the outside and
inside. Bottom side of floors cleaned and painted in red primer. All new

Vs full bolt on, gears, tuned 2011 Mustang v6. Regal: TVS swap with
stock TVS pulley. 7psi of Boost.
vs full bolt on, 3.55 gears, tuned 1998 Cobra. Regal: same setup as vs the
Vs 330whp low 12 second Vortech supercharged 2002 Mustang GT. Regal: TVS swap + 2.8''
pulley (14psi) and ethanol.
374whp with same mods as vs the blown GT
As always the Regal had stock heads and never had an Intercooler!

Overseas Trans Ams - Restore a Muscle Car & Mike Lavallee
These are two Pro-touring 80 Trans Ams we just finished for two brothers
overseas. They both have 650+ HP engines in them, automatic trans, full
DSE suspension with mini tubs in the rear, 4-link system and tubular upper
and lower control arms in the front.
The black "Dragon TA" has a custom flaming dragon that Mike Lavallee from
Killer Paint, applied to the car here at our shop in Nebraska. Along with
flaming accents to the lettering, and misc. areas on the car.
The white TA has a custom decal scheme that Phoenix Graphix helped us
implement on an extreme bright white finish.
Both cars received full leather interior with suede inserts and custom made
billet Year One snowflake wheels (12" width on the rear).
