Even the smallest of cars can get a driver's attention and the 2012 Toyota Yaris is no exception. With it's small size, zippy 1.5L engine and solid fuel economy the Yaris will get you to the grocery store and back with a little fun along the way.

It is, however, a basic car and promises little more than what it is. 2012 Toyota Yaris Drive & Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2012 Toyota Yaris is redesigned for this year. But while it has a new look, the underpinnings remain largely unchanged. The Yaris has a 1.5L engine that puts out 106 horsepower mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. It of course also comes with Toyota's well earned reputation for reliability and it does get very good gas mileage. Check out this review as we put the newest Yaris to the TFLcar test.

NEW TOYOTA YARIS 2013 The third generation Yaris was launched on December 22, 2010 in Yokohama, Japan, and it was launched in other countries by the end of 2011.Aerodynamic drag has been reduced with a coefficient drag value of 0.285.
This generation introduces a new 1.3 L 4-cylinder engine[clarification needed] which is more economical than the 1.0 L engine, according to Toyota Japan. New features include a single windscreen wiper and an engine start-stop system with a claimed 26.5 km/L (3.8 L/100 km; 62.3 mpg-US) for the Japanese streets. The XP130 comes with up to nine airbags: driver and front passenger airbags, front-seat mounted side airbags, a knee airbag for the driver, first and second row side-curtain airbags and two front seat cushion airbags.
The Toyota Yaris for the Australian market was revealed at the July 2011 Australian International Motor Show held in Melbourne. The new Yaris has a sportier, more rounded grille and redesigned front bumper. The power trains for the Australian market have yet to have been revealed.
For North America, the XP130 series was released in the fourth quarter of 2011 as a 2012 model under the Toyota Yaris name. Offered in both three- and five-door hatchback styles, Toyota Yaris offers only the 1.5-liter engine with a five-speed manual or optional four-speed automatic transmission. The 2012 model year North American Yaris three- and five-door hatchbacks are available in the base L (CE in Canada), mid-range LE and sport-tuned SE trim levels. The SE is available only as a five-door and comes with larger 16-inch alloy wheels, sport-tuned suspension and disk brakes on all four wheels. For 2012, the Yaris hatchback has nine standard airbags.

Toyota Yaris has a roomy interior that's packed with equipment, and Toyota's superb reliability record and long warranty will give you permanent peace of mind.
The Yaris is nowhere near as good to drive as other superminis at similar money, and the interior is extremely unappealing. Refinement isn't great, either.
The Toyota Yaris is a decent bet if you want lots of space and luxury kit for an affordable price, but there are numerous other superminis out there that'll make your motoring classier and more fun
