Audi R8 V10 - Honda S2000..How much faster is the R8..
A friend and I were driving back home and we came up behind an Audi R8. It indeed was quite a bit faster than my S2000 haha. (Duhh)..But hey, The R8 is a $110k-$160k Car and the s2000 is only $35k new. This is the V10 Audi R8, which puts out more than twice as much HP as my S2000. To all the people who think I'm trying to say the S2000 is as good, or anywhere close to an Audi R8, you are foolish, and you have completely missed the point of the video. I am showing how much faster an R8 is than my S2000. That is all. It you are ranting and raving about how "the R8 barely touched the gas pedal", watch from 0:50 - 0:55 . He blows me away. Honda S2000 vs BMW 535d street race
My girlfriend and I raced her dad in his 535d. 230kw and 630nm. I expected to get gapped badly but a sweet launch and slick gear changes resulted in a win for the S2000. This race took place at an altitude of 1700m above sea level. So the Honda is really down on power. Also note that I had a passenger in the S2000 which affects the car more due to the low torque of the car. It was a fun race and one to remember. The video guy is my girlfriend's brother. The High Definition video is thanks to the Apple iPhone 4S. On paper I should have got smashed but in the end driver skilled played the winning role in this race. It was all for fun and nothing serious as I know the 535d is the faster car but it was fun holding the big powerful BMW off for so long from the line......hope you guys enjoy the video......

Honda S2000 AP2 vs BMW M3 E46
Modifications listed below. S2000 has all original intake/header/gearing/ecu from the factory and has not been modified. The M3 is running the original Exhaust/gearing/ecu from the factory as well. Keep in mind the M3 has a passenger. To make the run fair, they did a 1st gear roll instead of launching from a stop as the car with the better launch will have more of an advantage. 2005 S2000 - testpipe, custom Exhaust, lightened flywheel 2001 E46 M3 - intake, header, s-pipe
