Starting up a 460
Starting up the ford 460 that wad built in my shop at my tech school.
Theres flames coming out of the awesome headers.
460 Big block power
this is a ford 460. i built this motor to put in my mud truck. started out
as efi but swapped the heads and changed it to carb. this is the first time
we ran it on the engine stand before we put it in the truck

Ford 460 trying to "WOT launch" from dead stop to 90 mph
Just me messing around... Trying to launch WOT requires "pedaling" to
control wheelspin even with a spool. New carburetor!! 650 Holley DP with
custom 1:1 linkage and ford kickdown by myself. This very mild 460 engine
is well matched- cam, carburetor, and intake are all done making power at
5500 rpm. Still running manifolds also. Had some carburetor heat after a
1 hour drive.
572 CID Big Block Ford Kaase P51 Head 900 HP @ 7000 rpm all motor
A460 block @ 4.500 bore, eagle 4340 4.500 stroke crank, eagle H-beam rods
with ARP L19 rod bolts, Kaase P51 cylinder heads (stock--unported) comp
cams solid roller, Diamond 16 to 1 pistons, Danny Bee belt drive, T&D
rockers, TFS intake, Carb Shop 1050 dominator, MSD crank trigger ignition.

Boss 429 dyno blow up!
Boss 557 on Dyno when
everything goes wrong. Had to rush for Dyno time and did not have
billet flywheel. We used stock 429 flywheel. Made 6 runs, this was the
7th. 850 hp before the blow.

1/4 mile = 14.54 @ 102mph (with some tire spin off the line) just shifting
into 3rd at the end of the 1/4 mile.

Cam is an "Interceptor" grind cam.. made to optimize torque.
True Dual Exhaust thru 2 1/2 inch Exhaust with H-pipe. I removed the
original Ford Police Performance mufflers and put on Dynomax Ultra Flows... didnt
really notice any differance in performance. But they are a little louder
than the Police Mufflers.

1967 mustang 460 big block
Best ET 12.019, 1977 460 and C6 automatic from a van, 212 dur at .050 cam,
8.75 compression, 3.50 gears, full Exhaust
This is a 12.3 run with iron heads. Now runs consistent 12.0's with RHP
460 Ford Big block run 2
this is the second run for this motor on this engine stand. its at wyotech
in blairsville pa. it will be going into a rear wheel drive drag car
chassis with a Nitrous fogger kit
Ford 460 Acceleration 1971 LTD 20-70 mph(6.4 sec)
My new 460 in my 1971 LTD. C-6, 2200 stall, 2.75:1 ring and pinion, about
400 hp 530 lb. ft. Car has a huge amount of power. It short shifts(4500
rpm) and hesitates because of a heavy secondary spring(black) and still
accelerates like mad. I'm going to do some carburetor tuning and find a
way to shift manually while holding the camera, then post a new video. I'm
pretty sure it will hit 100 in around 10 seconds properly tuned.
