Abandoned in Japan: An American Muscle-car graveyard
I came across this bunch of rusting, American Muscle-cars a while back.
There's classic Camaros, Mustangs (inc Mach 1) and a Trans-Am.
So sad to see them rotting away.

Corky Coker Hauls in Some Barn Find Cars
Two old Buicks and a Packard make up one spectacular barn find in the heart
of downtown Chattanooga, TN. Literally right in the middle of the North
Shore community in downtown Chattanooga, TN. Corky Coker got the call that
three cars needed be bought and moved due to a sold homestead, and we join
the mission enroute to see what the scene looks like.
Barn find 1927 Buick & 1941 Hudson- Reseda, California
In June of 2010 I was asked to help evaluate and uncover a rather unique
group of classic cars; one of which had be sitting since just after World
War 2. In fact there was an original WW2 Navy uniform still sitting in the
back seat. More rare cars came of hiding that fortuitous day. I was lucky
enough to recover and bring home a few of these time-forgotten relics,
thanks. Blue Nelson

1955 Buick Special Barn Find
The storage for some old vehicles has been lost, the property was sold,
hence the barn must be cleared for the new owners. This '55 Buick was
sitting the corner, minus rear wheels and axle shafts, we saw the
differential gears were missing, hence the disassembled unit. The ceiling
was low in the barn, thus we used the car dolly, after jacking up the rear
end of the car carefully. With 1 tire completely flat (what a wrestling
act!) and the other one pretty low, the car was finally coaxed out of the
barn, into the light after umpteen years. Thanks to Josh showing up to do
his chores and helping us to safely get the car back up the road by helping
to secure the car tightly to the dolly, then using his Kubota tractor with
the flashing signals to ward off cars speeding up the road. It was quite
the setup we had pulling the car backwards, myself steering like an old
hook and ladder firetruck to help the car around curves and turns.
Matt Buys a Barn-Find Delorean!
After 25 years of unhealthy obsession and six months of searching (with the
help of DMC CEO Stephen Wynne), Matt finally finds the perfect Delorean to
*Update* After carefully re-checking the VIN and build date, Matt's
Delorean is actually a 1983 model, not a 1981 model. It was built in August
of 1982. Matt doesn't care. Thanks DMC geeks for assisting with that.

1960 Corvette Barn Find
Exhumed after 35+ years in hibernation! This 1960 Corvette was a gift from
the owner's parents in 1966 who used the fast ride to commute to school in
Burlington Vermont, then general transportation until placing in storage
around 1977. She's now in the safe hands of a Pennsylvania collector.

Body no. 356
Series 60. 452-cid, 185-hp OHV V-16 engine, three-speed manual
transmission, coil spring independent front suspension, live rear axle with
semi-elliptic leaf springs, and four-wheel vacuum-assisted mechanical drum
brakes. Wheelbase: 154-inches.
At first glance, this car looks like an armored limousine, with inch-thick
glass and carefully-drilled gun ports. On closer examination, however, it
gets more and more curious.
The Cadillac build records call it "Fltwd Limo," body style 6275, number
356, and indicate it was ordered by the Chicago branch on February 21,
1935. Painted Thessalon Green, it had black leather in the front
compartment and Wiese brown vogue weave broadcloth in the rear. Fitted with
six wire wheels, two of them in fender wells, it had a radio in the rear
compartment and a flexible steering wheel. There is a further notation
about "Special Fleetwood Body Order 310," the details of which are lost to
The online Cadillac Data Base, a meticulous compilation by historian Yann
Saunders, gives production figures for Style 6275 as nine in 1934 and just
seven in 1935, exclusive of those given suffixes as sedans, formal
limousines or limousines with increased headroom. The bodies were the same
as the flat-windshield limousine Style 6075, whose Fisher body tags they
