Video / slideshow I made of my chevette while at college. I miss the car like crazy. I think the music fits pretty well, listen to the words of the song right before the burnout, seems to be just perfect because I finally got the car running again and back on the road.
For those of you wondering, in this video the engine is a 4.1L Buick V6 N/A with 8:1 compression, either a TH200 or 200-4R (I don't remember which I had in at that point), and the rear axle is stock.
Now the car sports a Nitrous kit, 700r4 transmission, and s10 rear axle with factory gov-loc posi.

As you can see it is missing the front grill.
Has a small knocking on the top end. AC works but has a leak to attend to. Headliner needs some attention.

My new $50 Chevette
I picked up this '86 Chevette from a friend of mine for $50. He said it ran quite poorly and was a pain to drive. Really...?
The only thing I've done to this car so far is clean the junk out of it. Mechanically, I have yet to touch it. There are a couple of minor issues with it, such as the door not closing properly and the broken door handle. Other than that, it works great!

1977 Chevrolet Chevette - Dealership Film
Second model year of Chevrolet's "new kind of American car" for 1977. Transferred from super 8mm film taken from a sealed Technicolor-branded cartridge designed to be played in a GM dealership. Sorry about the sound - it is obsolete optical sound where dust causes pops and crackles.
