2002 Cadillac Deville Start Up, Tour, Review
Forgot to upload this a few weeks ago when I filmed it. Overall its a
pretty nice car and the end of an era for Cadillac but none of that can
mask the fact it drives like absolute hell.

Mixing one of the biggest and smoothest V8s GM ever produced with
mirror-like paint and a spacious, comfortable interior, this classy DeVille
puts a new twist on 'Standard of The World'. And if you've always dreamed
of owning a big American cruiser that's high on style and loaded with
comfort, it's just the opportunity you've been waiting for!
Not completely devoid of character, like so many traditional, frame-off
restorations, this road-ready drop-top is an exhilarating combination of
factory-correct blitz and tasteful glam. Appearing both solemn and
official, its Jet Black paint reflects an excellent shine that literally
glows when crouching under the sun. And that modern two-stage covers what
appears to be clean, mostly original sheetmetal which displays no sign of
botched repairs or historic damage.
Cadillac, once the world's leading proprietor of fine, 16-cylinder motor
coaches, knows a thing or two about performance. For example, this
convertible's correct, 472 cubic inch monster block, which is one of the
largest V8s ever produced, turns stout 10 to 1 compression into a smooth
And while GM Powertrain did provide engines that generated more power, this
mill was designed to idle silently, create instantaneous thrust and emit
merely a whisper from its tailpipe. Judging by the appearance of the car's
satin black bay, it's been on a regular maintenance schedule, benefitting
from periodic, full-scale detailing. Many of the motor's original ancillary
items have been replaced by flashier hardware including: a chrome,
single-snorkel air cleaner, chrome valve covers, a polished radiator
overflow and an HEI distributor that's complete with 8mm Hi Temp wires. And
thanks to two Optima gel cell batteries, the car fires so smoothly you may
not even notice it's running.
Behind that big engine, an original turbo-Hydramatic 400 3-speed spins a traditional
GM 12-bolt that's complete with smooth 2.98 gears. Speaking of smooth, the
car's long and low suspension, which is augmented with Air Ride
Technologies air bags, glides over almost any imperfection with virtually
no drama. And all that proven hardware rolls on slick Centerline Smoothies
which spin 245/40R20 Firestone Firehawks around detailed Cadillac crests.
If you're a fan of big time comfort, you'll be absolutely thrilled by this
DeVille's custom black interior! The '63 Cadillac front and chopped rear
seats are firm, supple and display virtually no signs of aging. In front of
those half power, half manual seats, a modernist, crack-free dash hangs a
contoured instrument panel between a billet mirror, a modern Pioneer CD
player, controls for the car's Air Ride Technologies suspension and
chrome-trimmed foot pedals. In front of the driver, a custom '59 Cadillac
steering wheel spins a chrome horn ring around a tilting column and simple
chrome gear selector. And behind the passengers, a Dynamat-lined trunk
seals a giant subwoofer behind a Pioneer CD changer, two JL Audio amps, a
small bass tube, a fifth Centerline/Firestone combo and a small, South
County Customs jack.
This DeVille is an extremely high-quality cruiser with no question marks
attached. Don't miss your opportunity to own one of the coolest Caddys on
the planet! Call, click or visit http://RKMotorsCharlotte.com today.
1977 Cadillac Coupe De Ville CDV Deville Video Youngtimer Classic Cadi 28k Mi Test Drive
Cadillac Coupe De Ville 77 CDV Near Mint 1 Owner 28,000 Original Miles Walk
Around Video Test Drive http://www.1ownercarguy.com This is quite possibly
one of the cleanest classic cars I have ever owned. I am not sure if is
been painted all of the platic filler pieces in the bumpers are there and
in Great shape I would thing something has been replaced i was told the
lights are differet i dunno I do know This is a beautiful 1 Owner 77
Cadillac Coupe De Ville that I really Believe only has 28K Original Miles
on it. That is very rare for a car like this. Its Impossible to know on a
older car like this before 6 digit odometers and Auto check..;-) It sure
seems like 28k though It has the 7.0L 425 Big Block in it and man the car
fires right up and runs, drives, and shifts great. Everything on the car is
tight and I just couldn't believe how low the miles were on this car. The
exterior is beautiful and I just love the baby blue paint with the color
matching half vogue top. The paint looks great and has a nice shine to it.
It has a ton of chrome and the factory wheel covers that look great. The
interior is just amazing. It has the color matching leather interior and it
is one of the cleanest I have seen. The seats and carpet show almost no
wear. This car is fully loaded with all of the options. You will be hard
pressed to find a cleaner classic car then this.

1977 was Cadillac's 75th anniversary, and saw the introduction of the
downsized De Ville coupes and sedans. These new cars featured a higher
roofline, resulting in a vehicle that was over nine inches shorter, four
inches narrower, and 1/2 ton lighter than the previous year, but with a
larger trunk and more headroom and legroom. These were also the first De
Villes ever to be marketed without fender skirts over the rear wheels. The
500 in3 V8 (which produced 190 horsepower) was replaced for
1977 by a 180 horsepower 425 in3 V8
variant of similar design.

1964 Cadillac: Big, Black & Blown - /BIG MUSCLE
This is a 1964 Cadillac DeVille drop-top. It's got a blown 468 cubic-inch
big block, 600 plus horsepower, and if you
haven't figured it out by now, it's a friggin' carnival ride on four
wheels. I stumbled upon this amazing machine while walking through a car
show in Alameda, CA and after speaking with owner Ron Dean, I knew it was
something that had to be featured on BIG MUSCLE. Stretching 20-feet in
length and having a personality that simply can't be ignored, this old
DeVille not only kicks sand in the face of other hot-rods, but does so
while maintaining all the comfort and class that vintage Cadillac's are
