Just kidding aside, to the best of my knowledge this car is a two owner vehicle that has really been cared for. It shows in excellent condition inside and out for it's age and brings back memories of riding down the causeway blaring your 1980's hair metal off your newly bought cassette (yes I said cassettes) in this beauty of a sports car made by a reputable Japanese automaker. This car runs like a beauty. Boasts 135 K original miles. Has the original T-ops, hood air scoops, fantastic and luxurious top-grain and suede leather interior that is literally as new and taken care as when this beauty rolled off the assembly line back in '83. The car is a 5 speed manual transmission with reverse, has a turboBoost making this baby keep up with the modern sports cars of today. Has impeccable working internals (mechanically...inside and out). The gauges work flawlessly and the stereo brings back memories of an audiophiles dreams...true stainless exterior, has volume, bass, treble, balance, and fader stereo knobs...not some clunky plastic ones, but actual metal that bring back that classic era of the late 70's/early 80's when stereos where made to last!!! To top the stereo off, it's an original issue cassette deck, that guess what, actually works!!! The car is a hatchback and one that is a nice as could be. Datsun 510 Cosmo 13B Turbo Rotary
1971 Datsun 510 2 door. Lots of thanks to James Minifield of Krazzy RPM, Hesperia California One of the cleanest rotary shop I know. My Pare Arnel Ilog, Rommel Bigasin and Jerry Acdan for finally getting my 510 done!!! My son Christian for editing this video. Lee my youngest who loves cruising in the 510. Corolla sleeper - Nissan VG30 turbo powered
Scotty's KE30 Toyota Corolla street sleeper was built in a mere 4 weeks. Power comes from a $60 wrecking yard stock unopened Nissan VG30 V6 3L engine and Garret roller bearing turbo.
Custom LPG straight gas fuel system by Tunnel Vision, ZX 5spd box, R180 diff.
This was the first time out and the car was suffering from diff hop and severe clutch slip in 4th gear running a best time of 11.4 at 127mph. Power is transmitted through tiny 215mm 14in ET Street Radial tyres and was driven to and from the track. The car should be good for 10s at 130+mph next time out in full street trim.
