Vic showing off his pride and joy....plus a 2 stroke TANK engine, he informs me the BIG one developes 125hp @ 250rpm.. Filmed and edited by Racerroy TORQUE = HP x 5252 ÷ RPM Torque = (125 x 5252) / 250 = 2626 ft lbs or 3560Nm That's an amazing amount of torque Sadly the owner of this engine 'Vic' seen in the film passed away in December 2012, I don't know which out of his collection was his favourite but I bet he keeping any eye on them all. He was a character and a gentleman I had the privilege to speak with many times I have had a message from the new owner which I have copied onto here and it reads. .Hello racerroy, I originally bought and removed this engine from it's working place (York waterworks in 1997) I then installed it in one of my buildings and returned it to running order but after suffering a mental brake down mistakenly sold it to Vick. I bought it from his daughter before it was put to auction to stop it from being sold overseas!! The engine is going into a privet collection in Suffolk just up the road from where she was built, which I think is where she belongs. Steve
