Pontiac 350 - 350 Horsepower For Less Than $500.00
A short video describing the modifications done to the 65,000 original mile Pontiac 350 engine in my 1975 Formula. Using heads, cam, pushrods, rocker arms and an intake that I had laying around, this Pontiac 350 developed 353 horsepower and 385 lbs/ft of Torque, for less than $500.00 invested.

1965 Chevelle Engine Upgrades V8TV
http://www.v8tvshow.com - Our '65 Chevelle drove in on a low-performance 350 cubic inch Chevy replacement engine that was reported to have less than 10,000 miles on it. Initially, we contemplated doing a late-model EFI swap on this car, but then we thought we'd take a look at what we had and see what kind of shape it was in. Turns out that the 350 is a parts-store type replacement engine with 4-bolt mains and a very clean bottom end. The cast iron heads and cam were not very exciting, so we used the Dynomation engine simulation software to whip up a new recipe. In this installment, we clean up the engine, repaint the short block, and install a new Comp Cams Xtreme Energy cam, lifters, timing set, new Holley performance aluminum cylinder heads, a Weiand Action Plus intake manifold, an MSD Pro-Billet distributor, some Flowtech headers, and a Holley 670 Street Avenger camshaft. Some of the parts we already had like the MSD unit, the intake, and the carb, but the cam and heads are new. Here's how it went.

IDIOT WITH TOO MUCH HORSEPOWER!!!
*** ATTENTION *** today i changed my chain, and saw that i haven't the original sprockets! the gixxer had 16/44, stock is 17/42, so the speedo shows more too much speed. sorry for that, didn't know this. all speeds are in KPH. song: "needless - speed metal 3" bike: Suzuki GSX-R 1000 K5 tunings: arrow Exhaust, K&N airfilter, noticed the different sound of the gixxer? the scenes with the black BP sweat band are with the gopro micover and the open gopro cover, the other without sweat band are done with the standard closed waterproof cover. please tell me which YOU prefer!

PONTIAC - "The Super Duty Story" Part 1 of 3
Pontiac had an SD engine program in the late 50s early 60s, and later/briefly again in 1973/74 with the SD455. This video is regarding the FIRST Super Duty program.---In only a few years time during the late 50s early 60s, Pontiac MORE THAN DOUBLED their V8's horsepower output (described in this video), while using/keeping the same V8 engine block they used thru 1955-81. Even though the same block was kept, from 1955-62 the cubic inch displacement grew much larger than the initial 287 cuber it started as in 1955. It grew to a 317 347 370 389 and finally a 421 cuber in 1962. It eventually maxed out at 455 cubes in 1970. By 1970 ALL the other GM divisions were producing engines at 454 or 455 cubes (500 for Cadillac). PONTIAC WAS THE ONLY DIVISION still using the same block they used in the 1950s on engines that had a much smaller displacement -- 287 cubes. The 1955 287 displacement would remain the smallest displacement ever used in the Pontiac V8 block all the way until 1980/81 when a 265V8 was produced. Since less durability was required for the smaller displacement, the block was decked/butchered/lightened on the 265/301v8s of 1980/81. Prior to 1980 the block had never been decked/butchered/lightened. The 1980/81 265/301v8 blocks were about 200 pounds lighter than the 1955-79 blocks, and only 25 pounds heavier than a Buick 231V6.

Engine detail work
getting the motor all cleaned and freshened up before I get the car primed/painted. I used the VHT 3000 degree header paint on the heads so it won't cook off like the 500 degree pontiac blue. Once again, its just a pontiac 350 studded 2 bolt mains, bored .060 over, forged KB pistons, I-beam rods, Edelbrock performer cam. (.480/.480) 290 degree duration. Q-Jet 800 cfm carb, 6X-4 heads, W-72 intake from a 400, all ARP bolts holding it together internally.
