1971 Ford Mustang Boss 351
More video of a hot car. Hot Rod Magazine's article showed how the '71 Boss 351 made 380+ hp when built to factory specs which included 11:1 comp. The "Factory Rating" of 330hp was off just a little. The main competitor to the Boss- the LT1 350 with 9:1 comp- made 356hp, still a stout little package. The car has been repainted once and had some typical rear fender rust fixed. Other than that, an original example. They made very, very few of the '71 Boss 351 and no Boss 302s that I'm aware of. From memory, it cost ~$3700 new. Taken at Abingdon Lowe's 14 October 2011.

This one is for all the Gran Torino owners and admirers out there. The slideshow is all about the 72 Sport FastBack model which is in my opinion, one of the most good looking muscle car around. I love the aggressive nose, the large muscular hips and the fastback with its rear window being almost horizontal. This car has been starring in the latest Clint Eastwood movie and the last Fast & Furious 4. Enjoy the ride, make sure you watch in HD and spread the 2 words...Gran Torino. One last thing, If any Torino owners or photographers in this video wants their pictures to be credited in the description, it will be my pleasure.
1969 Ford Cobra 428 SCJ Drag Pack Muscle Car - Torino Fairlane Talladega Cyclone
I thought you'd like a look at this 1969 Ford Cobra. This particular car is equipped with a balance and blueprinted 428 Super Cobra Jet. It also has the drag pack with a four-speed tranny and 4.30 rear gears. It's looking real tough in black on black and resembles Ford's Nascars from the time. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for watching!
1971 Mach 1 429 CJ Cobra Jet Tribute Burn Out
This car was sold! $25,000. Thanks for looking! We had to let off the throttle because we were running out of room. This car required a light power brake to launch and load up torque converter, after that, it's all horsepower down the block in second gear! Over 400-450 horsepower! Built by Phillips Racing Engines in Ohio. Here's the link to the ad: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320730377426&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMESCX%3AIT

Pure Vision's '72 Gran Torino (GTS) on the dyno
This 1972 Gran Tornio built by Pure Vison has a 514 Super Cobra Jet big block Ford engine breathing through a custom 3" Exhaust and SpinTech mufflers. This is close to the final pull after a few hours of tuning the dual Edelbrocks. I don't recall for sure but I the final power figures were in the low 500s at the wheel. I do know torque was flat across the board and more than enough to turn those 20 inch 335 Pirelli's into massive billows of smoke! For the observant folks out there, this is the actual car that was the inspiration for Fenix's car in the new Fast and Furious movie. It was at two of the "cast calls" before it was even a running car!
