Das Speedster
This is a quick walk around of das Speedster with it idling. It is a radically altered 1962 VW beetle. It is an all steel body with a Mazda 12a rotary engine and 5speed manual trans. It is sectioned 6" body is shortened 12" width of the body narrowed 4",channeled 4",suicied doors and decklid is a 1974 super beetle hood that has been widened 3". car weoghs 1089lbs and does move along quite quickly.

Took the Syncro for a Sunday drive and spotted an old single cab in the foothills outside Idaho Falls. This is nine hours worth of digging condensed into a 15 minute video. It had been sitting in a wash since 1967. It was buried under two feet of dirt but it's extremely rust free given the circumstances. The drop gates hadn't seen the light of day for 45 years. 67 Volksrod
This is a highly modified 1967 VW Bug. Grafted on rag top, New Chassis, Narrowed front axle, Chopped 4 inches in front and 3 inches in the back. Adapted for chevy wheels and super wide M/T Sportsmen tires on Centerline wheels. This is just the beginning of transforming this bug into my kind of art. Stay tuned working on this bug weekly to come up with some thing different.
