Avery Dennison Conform Chrome - Fender
This is a video of Justin Pate applying Avery Dennison's new Conform Chrome at the ISA sign show in Orlando (March 2012). The video demonstrates the how this chrome can conform to a vehicle without whitening or wrinkles. The adhesive liner is the same as the 1005 easy apply rs films which makes Conform Chrome very easy to apply. * Please note that this chrome is for for use as accent pieces on a car such as door handles, mirrors and striping. Covering large sections of a vehicle such as this fender is in most states illegal so when applying Avery Conform Chrome please adhere to local regulations.





3M Wrapping Techniques
3M and Andrew Gamble demonstrate the different techniques used for applying different 3M wrapping films into different types of recess. Going through the process steps taken, from cleaning to applying to post heating. The video looks to inform vehicle wrappers, applicators and the market on the characteristics of 3M films and where they should be used and how. The video also demonstrates some unique adhesive features which make the films a dream to apply. 3M™ Controltac™ adhesive is a unique pressure activated adhesive technology that allows for the ultimate repositionability, making application easier and faster. This patented technology features microscopic glass beads which hold the adhesive away from the substrate until firm pressure is applied to activate the adhesive. The films in the video all feature this adhesive. 3M™ Comply™ adhesive technology, is an air release technology that all the films feature as well. Microscopic air channels allow air to be dispersed from beneath the film ensuring a bubble free finish.
