2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport Test Drive & Crossover SUV Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/new-cars/hyundai/santa-fe/?id=32972 The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe is a brand new redesign that makes this the 3rd generation automobile. It's hard to believe that the Santa Fe came out back in 1998. Back then there were not many crossovers on the market yet. Now that practically every automobile manufacturer has a crossover, Hyundai is playing it smart. They have gotten rid of the Veracruz model and then Hyundai has created a long wheel base and a short wheel base Santa Fe. Prices start at $24,450.
There are 2 different engine options available on the 2013 Santa Fe Sport. The first is a direct injected 2.4 liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 190 horsepower and 181 lb-ft. of torque. The second engine is a 2.0 liter turbocharged and gasoline direct injected motor that makes 264 horsepower and 269 lb-ft. of torque. The standard transmission is a 6-speed automatic. Fuel economy is 31 MPG combined for the turbo and 33 MPG combined for the naturally aspirated engine.
On the inside the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport has a great 8-inch Navigation as an option. The panoramic sunroof is ultra cool and lets rear passengers enjoy the fresh air and sunlight. The Santa Fe Sport comes standard with many great features like cruise control, power windows and locks, Bluetooth, and steering wheel mounted audio controls to name a few. Safety wise the Santa Fe comes with 7 airbags, stability control, traction control, and anti-lock brakes. These items are all standard on the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport.
Many improvements have been made and maybe the most important is the reduction in weight. The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe weighs 266 lbs. less than the previous model. That weight reduction has a positive effect on fuel economy. The Santa Fe Sport can carry up to 5 people. The rear seat is a 40/20/40 split bench making for a versatile crossover SUV. You can order the Santa Fe in either FWD or AWD configurations.
The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport is priced right alongside its competition. But with the Santa Fe you get more standard features for your money along with a great 10 year 100k mile warranty.

2013 Ford Fusion Test Drive & Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/ford/fusion/2013/?id=32972 The 2013 Ford Fusion
gives you is a lot of car for the money. The mid-sized sedan segment is
hotter than ever! It seems like a different manufacturer is releasing an
updated and improved model every few months. The Koreans offer cars like
the Kia Optima and Hyundai Sonata, Nissan has the all new Altima, and now
Ford is ready to play catch-up with the all new 2013 Fusion. There are 3
different trim levels ranging in price from $21,700 - $32,200.
For 2013 Ford is offering 3 different engine choices available with the
Fusion. The base engine is a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder Duratec 16-valve engine
that makes 175 horsepower and 175 lb-ft. of
torque that manages 22 MPG in the city and 34 MPG on the highway. The 1.4
liter EcoBoost engine is most likely
going to be the most popular engine. While power output may not be that
great at 178 horsepower and 184 lb-ft. of
torque, the fuel economy ratings of 25 MPG in the city and 37 MPG on the
highway will be the selling point. The most powerful engine is the 2.0
liter 4-cylinder EcoBoost which
makes 240 horsepower and 270 lb-ft. of
torque with gas mileage ratings coming in at 22 MPG in the city and 33 MPG
on the highway. The transmission of choice will be the 6-speed automatic,
but there is a 6-speed manual option. There is also an AWD model available.
As the mid-size segment heats up, there will be front runners that do
everything well and especially excel in one particular area. The Honda
Accord has great engine choices, the Optima/Sonata get excellent fuel
economy, and the Passat has a well sorted interior and comfortable ride.
The spot where the 2013 Ford Focus rules is in the styling department. The
Fusion just looks so good while in motion or when standing still. The front
end is clearly inspired by Aston Martin, the headlights and wheels are
aggressive, the roofline is similar to that of the Audi A7, and the rear
tail lights look like they come from Maserati.
The interior is much more mundane than the outside and that's OK. The
styling is German inspired with a touch of simplicity. The ergonomics are
excellent and there are many technological gadgets integrated like the Ford
The 2013 Ford Fusion is a great looking car with a nice selection of
engines and a well sorted interior. The base price is very affordable and
the higher trim levels come packed with all the bells and whistles that
give the Fusion a very premium feel.

2013 Mercedes-Benz GLK350 Luxury Crossover SUV Video Review
Mercedes GLK350 is a very functional compact luxury crossover that has been
refreshed for the 2013 model year. This segment has grown to be very
popular that the Mercedes GLK350 has competition from Audi, BMW, Infiniti,
and Lexus. With a starting price of $35,880 the GLK is a very affordable
option. The 2013 Mercedes GLK-Class can seat up to 5 adults.
On the outside the chiseled look has been softened a bit and the new
features make the GLK350 look more luxurious. Everything about the
front-end is new including a better grille, chrome trim around the lower
bumper, new headlights, and trick LED daytime running lights. Out back the
lines are softer and the taillights are full LED units. The Exhaust tips are oval chrome units that tie the
whole package together.
On the inside the ergonomics of the 2013 Mercedes-Benz GLK350 have been
significantly improved. The shifter has been moved to the column in an
effort to make more room on the center console. The Navigation system and
touch screen are one of the best in the business and therefore remain
unchanged. New for this model is the addition of a Stop/Start system that
shuts the engine off while sitting idle. This system is good for improving
fuel economy by a few MPG. Overall Mercedes did a wonderful job on the
The 2013 Mercedes GLK350 is powered by a Direct Injection 3.5 liter V-6
engine that makes 302 horsepower and 273 lb-ft. of
torque. That's over 30 more horsepower than last year's
model. The 7-speed automatic transmission should help the GLK350 net much
better fuel economy numbers than last year's model. Soon Mercedes will be
releasing a Diesel version of the GLK-Class called the GLK250 BlueTec that
should be a bit hit.
All in all the 2013 Mercedes GLK350 is at the top of the list concerning
luxury crossover SUVs. The price is very reasonable, the interior is well
sorted, and the new exterior refresh looks great.

2014 Mazda CX-5 2.5 Liter SKYACTIV Test Drive & Compact Crossover Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/mazda/cx-5/2014/mpg/?id=32972 When the Mazda CX-5
hit the market last year it gained huge support and enjoyed wonderful press
and publicity. Now for the 2014 model, Mazda has added SKYACTIV technology
to this compact crossover SUV making it more desired than ever. Not only
does the 2014 Mazda CX-5 offer great fuel economy, it offers a wonderful
driving experience, and tons of utility at an affordable price. The cost of
this new CX-5 is $21,195.
Mazda's reiteration of the 2014 CX-5 does not look that different on the
outside. The big changes have to do with the SKYACTIV technology under the
hood. The big news for 2014 is the addition of the 2.5 liter 4-cylinder
SKYACTIV engine. You can still get the smaller 2.0 liter engine on the base
model sport, but the Touring and Grand Touring trims get this great new
engine. Power is up almost 30 HP over the smaller engine as the 2.5 liter
produces 184 horsepower and 185 lb-ft. of
torque. Fuel economy figures are hardly affected and the 2014 Mazda CX-5
still manages 25 MPG in the city and 32 MPG on the highway. The 6-speed
automatic transmission is also a SKYACTIV unit. More power and practically
the same fuel economy equals a win win for Mazda.
On the outside, gone are the days of the big smiling happy faced Mazda
automobiles. The new KODO design style is aggressive and sharp. The front
of the 2014 Mazda CX-5 makes it one of the best looking crossovers out
there with the sharp cut headlamps, lower chin spoiler, and attractive
grille. The flared fenders and arches look very sporty especially when
combined with the 17-inch silver aluminum rims. Out back the stance of the
2014 Mazda CX-5 looks wide and low. The sporty design matches the equally
sporty driving characteristics.
Even though the 2014 Mazda CX-5 is a compact crossover SUV, there is still
a ton of utility and practicality despite the compact size. As with most
Mazda vehicles the cabin is very driver focused. This vehicle prides itself
on being enjoyable to drive. The layout is nice and the 5.8 inch touch
screen is adequate. The real heart of any Mazda is sitting in the driver's
seat. This is where you get to experience the Zoom Zoom appeal at its
This 2014 Mazda CX-5 is a wonderful package. You hit the gas and it goes
thanks to the responsive transmission. Mazda is really doing great things
with the SKYACTIV technology from the chassis, to the suspension, the
engine and transmission all come together to create an award winning car.
There are some serious competitors in this segment like the: Honda CR-V,
Toyota RAV4, and the Ford Escape. The 2014 Mazda CX-5 is a great driver's
car that is easy to live with all day long.

The latest Hyundai Santa Fe is a huge step forward from the car it
replaces, both in terms of design and interior quality. However, it comes
with a price to match, stretching Hyundai's reputation for offering value
for money further than any car it has ever released before. The five-year
warranty package remains, as does the powerful 2.2-litre diesel engine, but
the Santa Fe now costs a similar amount to Honda's new CR-V.
