There are 2 different engine options available on the 2013 Santa Fe Sport. The first is a direct injected 2.4 liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 190 horsepower and 181 lb-ft. of torque. The second engine is a 2.0 liter turbocharged and gasoline direct injected motor that makes 264 horsepower and 269 lb-ft. of torque. The standard transmission is a 6-speed automatic. Fuel economy is 31 MPG combined for the turbo and 33 MPG combined for the naturally aspirated engine.
On the inside the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport has a great 8-inch Navigation as an option. The panoramic sunroof is ultra cool and lets rear passengers enjoy the fresh air and sunlight. The Santa Fe Sport comes standard with many great features like cruise control, power windows and locks, Bluetooth, and steering wheel mounted audio controls to name a few. The Hyundai Santa Fe has been totally redesigned for the 2013 model year. There are now two distinct wheelbases being offered: a short wheelbase called the Sport and a long wheel base that adds a third row of seating. The extended version features a few different design elements as it replaces the Veracruz in Hyundai's line-up. If you are trying to decide between the Santa Fe and the Santa Fe Sport; here are some numbers that might help you with your decision. The smaller Sport carries 5 passengers while the larger model can seat up to 7. The longer wheelbase adds 8.5 inches to the overall length, there is 4 more inches at the wheelbase, and has almost 39 more cubic feet of interior room.

The Santa Fe is a vehicle that is very important to Hyundai because in the 90's when the company was struggling, the Santa Fe kept the brand going. Now this third generation SUV is bigger, better, and more powerful than ever. The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe has 3 different trims. The first is the 5 passenger Sport model which comes with 2 different engine choices. The second is the Santa Fe Limited which seats 6 passengers thanks the Captain's Chairs in the second row. The third trim is the GLS which is essentially the entry level model but has seating for 7 passengers.
Another distinction that is made between the Santa Fe and the Santa Fe Sport is what lives under the hood. The long wheel base models can be had with a 3.3 liter GDi V-6 engine that produces 290 horsepower and 252 lb-ft. of torque. Hyundai also lightened the larger Santa Fe by 330 lbs. giving this crossover SUV the best power to weight ratio in the segment. Fuel economy is 18 MPG in the city and 25 MPG on the highway. The transmission is a 6-speed automatic.
From an appearance standpoint the Santa Fe has a nice fresh modern look with a big bold grille, massive headlights, and streamlined look which is pretty unique for a crossover. Power lift gates are very important for buyers in this segment. If you want an automatic lift gate you will have to opt for the Limited model.

There are 3 different engines that power the GL Class. One engine is a BlueTEC diesel found on the GL350 while the other 2 engine choices are V-8 motors. The 2013 Mercedes GL450 is powered by a 4.6 liter V-8 that makes 362 horsepower and 406 lb-ft. of torque. This engine, paired with a 7-speed automatic, averages 14 MPG in the city and 19 MPG on the highway. Keep in mind the GL is a full size 7 passenger luxury SUV weighing over 5400 lbs.
The 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL Class looks like a strong muscular SUV thanks to the large dimensions, stainless steel skid plates, and distinctive design.
