383 Stroker 500HP+ rebuilt
a few days after everything was finished (old 383 Stroker with stock iron
heads)the engine blew up with a broken piston.I will post a video about
that later. Luckily the Engine-Block didn't suffer any damage and after
disassembly of the whole motor it was the perfect 4-Bolt base for a real
500+ HP 383 Stroker. This time I wanted serious horsepower!
So here we go, over 4.700$ in parts later...assembly is finished and right
now the motor waits for going back into the Truck. Still a lot of other
stuff to do at the Truck, but I think the Motor will be in the Truck
running, in about 4-5 Weeks.

Torque Converter Selection - Summit Racing Quick Flicks
What does a torque converter do? A torque converter is a fluid coupling
device that transfers power from engine to transmission and multiply the
torque being created by the engine.
There are three major components that make up a torque converter.
The Fluid Impeller is the only part of the torque converter that is
physically attached to the engine. The impeller creates fluid motion within
the converter to create a transfer of power. The Stator redirects fluid
flow towards the impeller. The Turbine Assembly transfers the motion
between the engine and the transmission. Another important aspect to
understand is Stall Speed = RPM when the engine sends all available power
to the transmission.
Torque converters have 2 different types of stalls that they can produce.
The 1st type is Foot Brake Stall. Foot break Stall is an inaccurate way to
measure torque converter stall.
Flash stall is the actual stall of the torque converter. Flash stall is
always listed in range which is determined by different attributes such
vehicle weight, gear ratio and tire size. The flash stall rating is the
only true and most accurate stall rating that you will find on a torque
A few rules of thumb to take from this video are: First select a converter
that stalls at 500 RPM higher than the camshaft. Converters installed in a
big block engine usually stall 300 RPM higher than a small block. Choose a
converter that will stall below the highway cruise RPM. For additional

LOST FOOTAGE* Back in August I took my homie Bat96chevy to pick up his
Caprice after he got his trunk redone and the guys at Ultimate Audio in
Lexington SC gave us a sneak peek a some of the toys they were working on.
This one owned by Carolina Panthers Defensive End Charles Johnson (#95) .
This murdered out "Darth Vader" Cutlass was on 24" dub wheels with a Baero
disc brake kit, Tiarra grille, tinted tail lights and park lights. The
insides had a 2010 Cadillac CTS-V dash in it with push button shifter,
diamond stitched genuine leather seats, custom door panels with some DOPE
speaker pods for the JL Audio speakers, and even a button to open the door
! The trunk was too clean with the 6-8"JL Audio subs in leather wrapped
fiberglass that thumped just right. . Oh and just a lil LS3 under the hood
to top it off haha. Definitely one of the best G-Bodies ive ever seen! NOW

Waiting for spintech mufflers to arrive before getting the Exhaust done. This project is finally almost
finished after starting the engine build back in october....and yes i know
it needs a paint job....
